I’ve been wanting to try renaissance for so long and glad that we finally did! It’s under Marriott hence standards are definitely up there - hotel buffet breakfast that everyone is raving about, great room, space and amenities (24 hours gym and sauna room). Trust this review that mid valley southkey is a better option vs the aeon you see from the window. We walked there (not really a proper linked walkway, walking side by side with moving cars) and took about 10 mins and to cross the overhead bridge too, the mall has nothing 😭 not a proper restaurant but it’s similar to sg’s g*ant hyper mart at tampines. overall, recommended to stay here! just take note on the location~ 10/10 on all except the location but if you just wanna chill and relax in, this is perfect.

Surrounded by lush greenery and the serene slopes of the golf course, the resort offers accomodation, four dining options,an Olympic size outpoor pool, an 18 hole par 72 golf course, tennis court, a fitness centre, a skincare and spa centre and a pro shop. The golf course blends natural terrain and tropical foliage to create a natural , challenging golf environment. By the way, the name 'Ponderosa' is derived from the name of a famous American pine. It is also the name of the famous cattle ranch in the hugely popular TV series, Bonanza.

went there for an impromptu stay (& played with fireworks as it was the new year!), checking in took long as the staff was new but it is okay, the room was small but good for a night stay. Bedsheets had staining seen due to long usage but was comfortable. Towels had smell on them and smelled as though they did not dry enough. Toilet is okay however there are no toiletries provided. Hairdryer was attached to the wall. No complimentary drinks provided but had cups and you can get instant coffee made at the hotel lobby. Parking 🅿️ was okay as there were many lots but to park at your own risk. There is Aeon mall nearby, overall location is still acceptable.

Das Zimmer ist sauber und das Front Desk ist schnell und freundlich (Es gibt auch eine Maschine, die mit Ein-/Auscheckung auch helfen kann). Klimaanlage ist stark, Wasserdruck ist gut. Es gibt Kühlschrank und Wasserdispenser. Aber kein Taschentuch und die Gürtel blockieren nur 90% des Sonnenlichts. Das Zimmer hat gute Beleuchtungen. Aber ich hatte einen ziemlich unglücklichen Vorfall. Ich ging aus, um um 8 Uhr zu essen. Ich verließ meine Frau allein im Zimmer, da sie sich nicht gut fühlte und wollte ein paar Augenschließungen. Ein paar Minuten nach meiner Abreise kam mir jemand (eine Dame) ins Zimmer. Meine Frau schlief, aber glücklich erwachte sich und die Dame, die eintrat und schnell ging. Das Front Desk dann ruft und integrierte meine Frau, um zu fragen, ob sie das Zimmer reserviert, ihren Namen und ob sie heute angemeldet hat. Das ist ziemlich hoch. 1. Wie kann man einen Schlüssel an jemand anderem ohne Check-in ausgeben? 2. Welche Chancen passiert es, als ich das Zimmer 3 verließ? Ich habe mit dem Vordertafel geprüft und ich wurde dem ”Gast” gesagt, dass sich die Nummer ihres Zimmers verwirrt. So öffnet ihr Schlüssel alle Türen? 4. Wie wusste das Vordertafeln so schnell? Auch wenn der andere Gast sagt: ”Hey, gibt es jemand in meinem Zimmer” warum nicht mit ihr zuerst überprüfen? Grundsätzlich danach verließ ich das Zimmer nicht. Ich habe sichergestellt, dass die Tür lackiert war und ich den Stuhl vor der Tür gesetzt. Einiges, ich fühle es wirklich sehr aufregend, dass es passiert, wenn ich aussteige, und sie kam mit dem Zimmerschlüssel.

Die Lage und das Essen sind bequem. Zimmerdesign ist modern, aber die Toilette ist nicht geeignet mit der Glaswand als Familienzimmer, außer für einige Trage und Tränen und ein Hübsch, um uns zu begrüßen. Insgesamt gute Aufenthaltserfahrung und wir haben sogar für die nächste Reise mit Kyoto geplant, bevor wir auschecken, bis wir 10 Nov Morgen-Switch-Rezeptor mit Einstellungsfrage getroffen, und auschecken Prozess ist langsam. Die Frontline-Service-Besatzung ist wichtig, was ein ”gutes” Start für meinen Tag, während sie das schwarze Gesicht beim Auschecken sehen.

Es ist mein dritter Tag des Aufenthalts in diesem Resort und es überstieg meine Erwartung. Ich habe eine 5-Zimmer-Villa vermietet und es ist superb gepflegt, komfortabel und sauber. Es befindet sich direkt neben dem Golfplatz und die Aussicht ist fantastisch. In der Nacht kann man das Geräusch von Insekten mit kühlem Brennen hören. Das Personal hier ist hilfreich und freundlich. Wir hatten Abendessen im Club und die meisten Gerichte sind sehr gut, insbesondere die Duck 🦆 . Aktivitäten weisen es auf alle Altersgruppen und Persönlichkeiten - wir spielten Tennis, Tischtennis, Schwimmbad mit Schleife für Kinder. Wir werden gerne vor dem Abflug morgen Schüsseln versuchen. Es gibt hier viele andere Dinge wie Tischpool, Fitnessraum, Squash, Pferderei, ein kleines Feld für Fußball und natürlich Golf - wir werden nicht Zeit für all diese Zeit haben 😉. Gute Zimmerservice, Front Desk sehr freundlich, Zimmer sehr sauber & Geruch gut, Bequem Bereich , alle Etagen können mit Aufzug zugänglich sein

Hotel staffs is friendly and no communication issues at all! Room is clean and neat, upon entering, the room had been air-ed with lots of sunshine coming into the room via the window. No musky smell or whatever. Nice hotel!
