Very nice location. I slept well. Nice amenities and space, very comfortable. Just the wall is a bit thin. I could hear people when they are near.

Good experience in a local antique apartment in Budapest. The staff are nice and helpful. Our room is little bit small but it’s however cozy and well equipped. Even though there is no air con, the fan makes us feel comfortable and we could sleep well. It would be great if there is lift from ground floor to the reception floor.

This place was an amazing find! We got the standard apartment, and it was a loft with 2 double beds. There was also a mini kitchen and a dining table. Just what we needed, wish we spent more time here! Service staff were also amazing and so nice. Location was also good with easy transport and food options near us!

Schönes kleines Apartment mitten in der Stadt (auf der Pest-Seite). Grandios für jede Menge Sightseeing, aber auch Nightlife - die Ruinenbars sind in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Dennoch recht ruhig, wenn man von der hyperaktiven Müllabfuhr mehrmals die Woche morgens vor 6 absieht. Plus: * einzigartige Lage * mit dem ÖPNV super gut erreichbar, mit dem Flughafenbus 100E in nur knapp 30 Min. und auch für tägliche Ausflüge gut an Bus, Tram und Metro angebunden * viel Platz für kleines Geld * extrem freundliches Personal, das geduldig alle Fragen beantwortet * wenn gewünscht: schneller Anschluss an andere Reisende durch das im gleichen Haus befindliche Hostel mit Gemeinschaftsräumen * Appartment und Küche ist mit fast allem ausgestattet, sogar Kaffee und Tee. Mir fehlten nur ein Schäler und ein Teigschaber Verbesserungsfähig: * recht hellhörig, Ohropax einpacken! * Check in leider erst ab 15 Uhr, aber man kann den Koffer in einem abgeschlossenen Raum deponieren

Die Unterkunft ist hervorragend gelegen, unmittelbar an den Fußgängerzonen der Innenstadt, Metro Staion, nahe der Donau und den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Pest am Franziskaner Platz und gleichnamiger Brücke. Klassisches altes Gebäude. Neben Wohnungen und Büros ist auch das zugehörige Hostel untergebracht. Einziger Nachteil, das Bett ist nur über eine "Hühnerleiter" auf der Empore erreichbar, für ältere und gehbehinderte nicht geeignet. Geräumiges Zimmer mit Kochniesche Bad/Toilette

Die Unterkunft ist einfach klasse! Das Ambiente versetzt einen zurück in die Vergangenheit, auch die Gegend in der sich das Maverick-Hostel befindet ist geprägt von Wiener Jugendstil. Von hier aus hat man einen super Startpunkt um die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt zu besichtigen und zudem sehr viele Restaurants und Bars. Die Ausstattung ist einfach aber modern und für den Preis absolut angemessen und in Ordnung. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und es gibt eine vielzahl von gemeinschaftlichen Events (zum Teil kostenfrei) in der Rezeption. Wir waren begeistert und werden bei unserem nächsten Budapest Aufenthalt wieder das Maverick buchen.

Ich hatte ein Appartement gemietet und bekam es in der 4. Etage. Die Lage ist perfekt. Vieles ist fussläufig erreichbar. Die Metro vor dem Haus wird zwar renoviert, aber die Busse mit Haltestelle direkt vor der Haustür bringen einen überall hin! Es empfiehlt sich eine Wochenkarte, womit man den Stress mit Fahrkarten entgeht. Vorsicht - es gibt viele Kontrollen. Wechselstube, Supermarkt und Schnellrestaurants befinden sich im Gebäudekomplex. Das Haus ist von Außen ein echtes Highlight der Belle Epoche. Im Zimmer gab es Tisch, Schrank, TV, Airconditioning und Kühlschrank. Dazu noch ein kleiner Balkon mit genialer Aussicht! Möbel sind etwas abgewohnt. Das Bad war in einem sehr guten Zustand. Es gab auf der Etage eine Küche. Einziges Negativkriterium ist die Lautstärke von der Straße in der Nacht. Also bei Bedarf Ohrstöpsel mitbringen. Dieses Handycap kann man angesichts der Kultur des Hauses, idealen Lage und dem angebotenen Preis in Kauf nehmen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ideal.

This hotel is by far the very very best I have stayed in. Super central, super clean, super comfortable, super friendly staff, everything was super. they also do social events which are a bonus for their welcoming the clients. Whenever I'll be back to Budapest I won't change this hotel for any other.

I have travelled all around Europe staying in hostels.Maverick hostel is the best i have stayed at so far!!!! Everything was excellent! The staff very friendly and helpful,the location is the best you could get,right in the center in walkable distance from just about every sight worth visiting,and if you need public transportation the metro station is right out of your door. The rooms and common areas are stylish and cosy and cleanliness is top!!! Totally recommend this place. Thank you Maverick staff for making my vacation in Budapest so pleasant!!

Comportement inacceptable, receptioniste se permettant de faire un jugement de valeur pas aimable méchant haineux juste parceque ma tête ne lui a pas plus il a refusé que je participe à une activité organisée par l'établissement !!! Arrogant hautain haineux !!

This is a wonderful hostels for women travelling alone. Tibor, George, Franceles from Brésil, was just wonderful at the reception( sorry for the names that I forgot). They can book where you need to go the Day before, likes for the baths or the musics events. I am leaving this morning afther 8 nights in a woman dormitory. The matress was firm, sheets soft, you have a refrigerator in the room as well than one in the big kitchen where you can cook your meals. They provide Coffee and tea. There is a supermarket at the corner. It is a old palace, maybe you will feel like a princess. Everything is so easy from here, you can walk all the city and use the public transportation also. Take a ticket, mine was expire for 50 min and they make me pay the 12 000. Beside that, Budapest is very safe and easy for woman travelling alone, this hostel is not a party hotel, it is quiet and you can leave your luggages if you need it. They also organised your transportation at the airport if you need it. Great people, Nice place, you can trust Mavrick hostel for a enjoyable stay! I had the best experience at this hostel. Tibor went over and above by preparing a Hungarian dish for us all to try. The hostel was super clean. The staff was all very helpful. It is centrally located and easy to get around. Staff is very helpful with booking excursions and general directions.
