The Fremont Street Experience is an outdoor pedestrian mall ( with free entry) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Its main attraction is a very large barrel vault canopy screen that hangs over four of the mall's five blocks. This canopy is famous for its wild light shows that occur every night. The mall includes multiple casinos and museums, the most popular museum being the Neon Museum.
Las Vegas is situated within a desert with hot and dry climate, although the nights could be rather chilly. Therefore, do take note to bring along suitable clothing. In July-August, the summer day temperature could go as high as 40 degrees Celsius. Due to this, hotel room rate discounts are correspondingly high too. If you are planning to go during this period, do remember to bring along sunscreen lotion to prevent sunburn.
