We stopped at Ananuri on the way along the Georgian Military Highway in July. The fortress sits right by the water with mountains behind it — a very picturesque spot. Inside there's an old church, and you can climb the towers for views over the reservoir. Entry is free. It gets crowded, especially during the day, but the grounds are large enough. Easy to combine with a trip to Kazbek — it's right on the way. I'd recommend making a stop.

Mtskheta - Georgia’s former capital is an amazing city where you can feel the Georgian soul. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral built in the 11th century is the place you should visit once you’re in Georgia.

Very beautiful monastery on a hill overlooking Mtskheta and the confluence of two huge rivers in Georgia. Opens up on great picturesque landscapes. Must visit, but beware of the very windy weather.

This was a big wow place for me. A huge monument with many sculptures about history of the ancient country. From the city center you can take a taxi to the place which will cost you around 15 lari. The entrance to the monument area is free.It’s located on the top of a hill and it also has a beautiful view to Tbilisi Sea. That’s how locals call the lake located on the northeast side of the city.

It is a beautifully designed bridge which is lovely to walk over! And is covered in lights during the night :)

it is definitely a must go place in Georgia, we drove Georgian Military Highway there, the view on the highway is spectacular, and then we reached kazbegi town, which is very lovely too. the church was like fifteen mins drive from the town. the view was unbelievable around the church

Freedom Square also known as Liberty Square has a beautiful monument that compliments the breathtaking historical scenery of Tbilisi Georgia. Georgia is indeed a hidden Gem.
