広い部屋でCTMやカルフールまで徒歩15〜20分くらいです。カルフールまでの道は人が多いので夜に1人で歩いていても怖くなかったです。 ホテルの方が親切です。

My husband and I only had one night in Fes on our honeymoon, but it was very memorable thanks to Riad Fes Baraka. The riad itself is beautiful and clean, and our room (the Berbère suite) was cozy and quiet despite being right next to the pool and courtyard. What especially made our stay great was Samir's hospitality. He welcomed us with incredible Moroccan mint tea, organized a medina guide for us last minute, and went above and beyond when we asked him to take a few photos of us in the riad. We were sad to leave so soon, and would definitely stay here again should we make it back to Fes in the future.

Wow, the initial impression which greets you when you walk through the door is nothing short of breathtaking. The more time you spend looking at the interior of the central courtyard the more impressed you are with the extraordinary detail of the workmanship. It's cavernous! Just thinking about the time it took to create the interior of this stunning riad defies imagination. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. So why four and not five stars? Well I struggled with writing this review, but I had to place it in the context of the other five riads/dars we stayed in and it is about overall experience and impressions. I felt the internal spaces were a bit 'reverential', more like a library where you have to speak in hushed tones than a social space. It felt awkward to sit there, even at breakfast listening to the rattle of our cutlery echoing around the building. My friends had a room which had windows to the front onto the street, and they suffered some street noise from groups of local youths who gathered outside. My room only had windows into the internal spaces and I was not troubled by noise. No full length mirror, but that was a theme repeated elsewhere. There is no doubt that this is an extraordinary place, absolutely beautiful, and we were treated with courtesy and respect during our two night stay, but I have to be honest and present my view of where it fell slightly short of our expectations. Entirely personal opinion, as reviews are by their very nature.

Morocco has been the top of my bucket list for over 30 years. During that time, I obviously dreamt about the details. Riad Jaouhara was those dreams come to life. The location is perfect-close to the the square where taxis pick up and drop off for reliable transporation to and from the riad but deep enough into the Medina that you feel as if you've stepped into a different time. The ”new” Medina is right outside your door and the ”old” Medina is an easy walk (even carrying shopping bags!). The riad itself is so beautiful. It's been lovingly restored from the courtyard to the rooms to the rooftop. The bed was so comfortable and the heat was so warm (we were there during December, so it was chilly outside); it was the best sleep we got throughout our whole trip. Breakfast is delicious. Note: there are a lot of stairs, so if you have mobility issues, ask for a room on the ground level. The people are kind and helpful. Any questions you have or arrangements you need made, they are eager to help. We were there for five days and truly felt like we were at home.

Nunca he tenido una tan mal experiencia. No tengo palabras por el comportamiento absolutamente incorrecto de la mujer de la recepción, Hasnae. Nos cargaron a posteriori las 3 noches de alojamiento a pesar de que no estuvimos ninguna, ya que tuvimos que marcharnos del sitio la primera noche por todas las complicaciones que hubo a partir del primer momento. Llegamos sobre las 16.30h, después de haberles avisado que estábamos en tren y que llegaríamos en breve. Desde el minuto 1 la impresión que tuvimos fue de un sitio que no estaba acondicionado para recibir huéspedes, el alojamiento estaba en obras. Nos dijo que teníamos que esperar un poco antes de subir a la habitación. Esperamos más de una hora y media abajo para poder tener acceso a la habitación, después de 6 horas de vieje. Los baños de la planta baja estaban muy sucios (con calzoncillos por ahí) y, aparte de materiales de obras (sacos de cemento y demás), había mucho polvo por las escaleras. La habitación era más pequeña y agobiante de lo que parecía en foto y tampoco el baño se correspondía al que aparecía en las imágenes. Esto es lo de menos. No había ni gel de ducha ni champú, tal como tenia que estar incluido, y tampoco se nos facilitaron cuando se lo preguntamos. Bueno, puede pasar. Volvimos en la noche después de cenar y nos encontramos con cucarachas en la habitación y en las camas. En la recepción no había nadie y, sin tener otra opción, tuvimos que buscar otro sitio donde pasar la noche y al que nos desplazamos a la 1.00 de la madrugada. Al día siguiente el Riad había sido contactado por Booking, ya que nos habíamos puesto en contacto con la atención al cliente para avisarles de la situación y de que no podíamos quedarnos allí por no cumplir ni con lo mínimo. Pasamos por el Riad para explicarles todo lo que pasó personalmente y decirles que nos íbamos a quedar ya en otro sitio. Ni un ”lo siento” ni nada de eso. La mujer nos escuchó y, cuando nos dijo que teníamos que anular la reserva, le dije que tenían que anularla ellos y que desde booking necesitaban recibir un correo de confirmación de lo acontecido por su parte y de que no habíamos pasado ni una noche allí. Fuimos a hablar con ella dos veces y con la excusa de que ella no manejaba las reservas y que el dueño se encontraba en otra ciudad, nos dijo que me contactaría en una hora. Nunca volvió a contactar conmigo ni contestó a mi mensaje de whatsapp. Tampoco nos dio alguna ocpión para encontrarnos a medio camino. Nada. Nos cobró igualmente las 3 noches completas, sabiendo que estuvimos en otro sitio y que tuvimos que pagar allí también. Ha sido una muy mala gestión por una persona deshonesta y mentirosa que sólo está interesada en el dinero y que no sabe ni siquiera qué quiere decir dedic**** a esta profesión. Nos sentimos decepcionadas. Lo dejo a su conciencia. Que esta sed de dinero en detrimento de otras personas respetuosas y honestas le traiga a esa gente lo que se merezca en la vida y en su trabajo.

Die +. Die Ruhe des Ortes, entfernt von der Hauptstraße und der Wohnungen Das Pool, groß genug, um Länge zu machen und spielen Das Zimmer, geräumig mit einem großen Bett, und ein Teil des Frühstücks. Der Geruch von einer Entladung, die sich in Kilometern entfernt befindet, ist nicht ihre Schuld, sondern warten Sie auf Tage mit starken Geruchen. Orangensaft, das nicht gepresst wurde, ist beim ersten Hals zu fühlen, dass es verdünnt wurde (entweder mit Kartonsaft oder mit dehydriertem Orangensaft), schade, weil das Frühstück gut ist, kleiner Bemol, es gibt kein Wasser auf dem Tisch, Sie wollen Wasser, Sie müssen eine Flasche bezahlen, und wenn Sie eine Wasserkarte oder ein Glas Wasser beantragen, Sie werden beantwortet, dass Sie fragen müssen, ob es möglich ist. Eine andere kleine Bemol, das Haus im Zimmer ist nicht jeden Tag gemacht.
