Ich war zunächst besorgniserregend über den Aufenthalt in einem ”alten” Hotel, aber meine Sorgen kamen zu Ruhe. Es war ähnlich einem Cottage-Thema mit sehr sauberen Zimmern und angemessenen Einrichtungen. Personal war immer sehr freundlich, Wir begrüßen uns, wenn wir das Hotel verlassen und zurückkehren, und reagieren unverzüglich auf unsere Hausaufbewahrungsanfragen. 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt, gibt es einen Park mit einem ruhigen Fluss, ein toller Ort zum Ruhen und von der berufsmäßigen Stadtleben zurück. Der nächste Bahnhof ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß und ein 30-45 Minuten Autofahrt nach der Stadt. Einige Nebenanlagen, es gibt neben dem im Hotel keine nebenangelegenen Restaurants und keine nebenangelegenen Supermärkte. Die Werkzeuge wurden nicht im Zimmer angeboten, so bereit zu sein, Ihre eigene Satte. Hotellifts scheinen ein wenig ausgeschaltet, aber hatten nicht unterbrochen während meines Aufenthalts. Insgesamt genossen ich meinen Aufenthalt angesichts der ruhigen Umgebung und erstaunlichen Service. Ich würde in Zukunft zurückkehren bedenken

Sehr komfortabel, sehr guter Standort. Nachbarnfalls incline railway, weniger als drei Minuten direkt zum Großraum, und der Preis für Ihre Familie umfasst Frühstück, obwohl das Frühstück allgemein ist, aber sehr kostengünstig, die Mitarbeiter freundlich und freundlich

Wir hatten das kleine Jack-Zimmer online für eine Nacht in diesem sehr schottischen Bett- und Frühstücksstil Inn reserviert. Als wir ankamen, entschieden wir uns, für zwei Nächte zu bleiben, und als wir das Jack-Zimmer sahen, stellte sich schnell klar, dass es nicht für eine Nacht und sicherlich nicht für zwei getan hätte. Es ist klein, einfach, hat keinen zusätzlichen Raum, auch für einen Stuhl und hat keine Kontrolle über Luftkon oder Heizung im Zimmer. Glücklicherweise war die Harrett Jacuzzi Suite im Carriage House Anhang für zwei Nächte verfügbar, so dass wir uns selbst behandelt. Das Zimmer ist groß mit einem großen vier Poster König. Es war etwas seltsam, das in der Ecke des Zimmers, und der Tauch und Toilette um ein wenig, aber immer noch ziemlich offen, so nicht sehr privat, aber ziemlich ok für uns lange verheiratete Typen. Die sauberen, glücklich ruhigen, schönen Bettwäsche haben alle zu einem entspannenden Mini-Ferien in Fergus beigetragen.

This was one of the WORST customer service experiences we ever had. My partner and I recently traveled and unfortunately were diverted to Toronto due to travel in our final destination. Upon arrival at the Toronto Airport around 5am EST, we were greeted by staff that alerted us that they had provided hotel vouchers. Of the options presented, we selected this hotel because it had a shuttle service, was nearby, and stated it offered breakfast. We figured after a long, stressful two days of traveling, it would be convenient not to have to worry about anything. We went down to the shuttle area and noticed that even after an hour no shuttle had passed for this hotel, so we called the number on our reservation. Without a single greeting, the person on the the line said ”Westjet shuttle service will begin at 9am” and then hung up. No greeting. No inquiry if I had questions. NOTHING. It was the first thing that made me weary of this hotel, but I decided to still go forward with the reservation. Given how cold it was outside, and the fact that we had already been tired from traveling, I figured it would be easier to call an Uber and we could sort things out upon arrival - so we did. When we arrived at the hotel, we were met by a little, older Indian man that was a bit abrasive in my opinion. He was on the phone line with another client that sounded like they were also on our flight and the way he spoke to them seemed quite unprofessional... When it was finally our turn to be served, we showed our voucher and told them that we understood they must be busy and inquired about our options. Initially, the gentleman told us that the room were being prepared for 9am. We said okay. Then he told us that there were no rooms, but if we paid an additional fee of $79.99+ Tax he could find us a room right away. We refused. He then came back and told us that we would not be accommodated until atleast 3pm. We told him we'd just wait and weigh our options in the mean time.. About 25 minutes later the same guy approached us as if he hadnt spoken to us before with completely different information. Another gentleman, much friendlier and more professional told us he could get us checked-in but the best he could do was give us a $20 discount, so we'd pay $59.99 + tax, on top of whatever the airline was already paying them for the stay. Something about the entire situations felt fishy. We didnt think it was worth is, especially considering the hotel seemed like a bit of a rinky dink. It had an odor as if it needed some fresh air and from what I heard from other guests, the food wasnt worth it. The front desk staff was just awful, very unprofessional and did nothing to make the experience less stressful. The staff is absolutely the downfall for this hotel and left such a negative impression on us that we left and went to another hotel where we gladly spent MORE money than we wouldve at this hotel. Absolutely overpriced, a friend was billed $50 for a dirty face cloth. dirty smelly rooms, front staff is horrible. I could honestly go on and on but why. This place will never change. I can not wait until the Holiday inn up the road is renovated and back up and running. DON'T STAY HERE. go to Hampton suites pay a little more for A WHOLE LOT BETTER. Back again because I had no choice. And once again nothing but issues. Called 2 hours before checking in and put the names on my three reservations and asked for the specific rooms. I was told the king executive with Jacuzzi and the couch bed was taken sorry. I asked how many kings executive with Jacuzzi do you have? They replied 2. I said that's funny as I booked both and have confirmation numbers how can it be taken? After 20 mins on hold she got back on the phone and said oh yes, they are both in your name. I gave the names for each room and what room # they go to. Got a call 30 mins later from our friend saying she was there, and her name is not on the reservation, and they have no idea. Once I arrived after 30 mins, we finally got it solved and checked in. About 1 hour later I noticed they charged my card $800 for incidentals. That's $200 a night per room per night for the 2 executive suites as the queen room was being paid for by the person staying in it. An absolute joke. The hotel is a joke. DON'T EVER STAY HERE. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. PS to anyone booking a group booking DON'T. Years ago, we had a contract for a certain number of rooms for our event and they cancelled approx. a month before our event on us. I assume they got a bigger contract because they tried to say they double booked us, and the other group booked first. Funny when I asked for proof there was a convenient computer issue. Just checked out one of the 2 rooms had ants. Hundreds of ants. The front desk solution was to give us bleach in a spray bottle from the laundry so we could spray and kill them. Then sleep smelling bleach. Lol fabulous. Picture is just a tiny amount of the hoards. Killed and cleaned up hundreds. I noticed the day after they billed me $50 for a missing blanket. I called the manager who says the brown blanket in the closet is missing. YES, IT IS because it is on the dirty couch bed my daughter slept in all weekends. *** Obviously, the staff does not clean there rooms very well at all******

I loved my stay here. It is a low-cost place in a local neighbourhood, and that’s what I was looking for. My room was clean and efficient. It is a bit weird in that there is no public signage and you have to read signs on the doors to find your way to check-in. Once there, the people who run the place are lovely. There is no elevator so I had help carrying my bag up the stairs to the second floor. Best to bring your own toiletries, but they have small packets of shampoo etc it you want them. I loved the fact that there were some food items left in the fridge - and I left some behind. Much more like a short stay in an apartment than a hotel. Great local restaurants and easy transit. I was attending a downtown conference and loved my place a $17 Uber away from the convention centre.

Toller Aufenthalt in einem schönen ruhigen und komfortablen Zimmer. Sehr sauber und nah an allem was man braucht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Der Preis war mehr als perfekt und ich würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen, hier zu übernachten, wie ich es in der Vergangenheit schon oft getan habe.

Nice older hotel. We stayed here recently in the family room. There was a nice amount of space in the room, more than in a typical suite. The room was on the 2nd floor. there were a few things that I didn't like but they are are preferences, not major problems. People sat in the parking lot, making parking more difficult in a somewhat tight lot. There were chairs on the walkway to the rooms, which may be nice if you view that walkway as a balcony, but it takes space in the walkway and is a hazard for someone with mobility issues to get around. The staff were very friendly but I didn't like that we had to go to their room/home when we needed them - I feel like I'm troubling them when they are not at the desk and I have to go to their residence. The hotel is in a great location, right accross the street from a couple of restaurants, near bus stops, and if you're up for a long walk, within walking distance of the attractions.

Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Das Zimmer ist ein bisschen datiert, aber das Badezimmer ist kürzlich renoviert. Das Zimmer ist klein, aber komfortabel, mit einem Mikrowelle, TV und Kühlschrank. Das ist alles, was ich für ein Motel bitte. Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn Sie eine Kanutage-Reise in der Nähe von Long Lake haben wollen. Sie werden sicher zurückkommen.
The Waring House

We visited the Canoe museum earlier in the day and booked the Waring House for the evening. The Inn is a little dated. The food there is delicious. We had lunch at the Barley Room. It was hamburger day so we had 2 of their burgers. Juicy and full of flavour. I eventually had to use a knife and fork. It was too big. The evening passed uneventful and we had a full breakfast the next day. It was a made to order for each person. I had an omelette and my husband had the hash. It was so filling we didn’t eat again until close to dinner. The problem occurred when we got home. We realized that there was a charge of $375 from the Waring House that we did not charge. When we called,we were told that it was due to the fact that we booked through a on line third party and it was their charge and we had to go to them to have it removed. It clearly stated on the on line statement that it was the Waring House that charged it. We even went through their accounting department. We were told it was flagged as an on line booking so it was not them. We spent 3 days calling the bank regarding the charge as well as the on-line booking company. They told us they only charged us for the original booking and the $375 was not put on our account by them. We finally got Waring House account to look again. I booked the room with my Visa card and paid for lunch as well. My husband used his Mastercard to pay the incidental charges. How did the on line booking company get his Mastercard number. He has never used it with them. After searching their records the Waring House had to admit they made a mistake and charge another customer’s room to our card. They were very sorry and will reverse them. We are sorry too. 3 days and hours on the phone to get to what happened. It is obvious that the Waring House does not have their accounting regarding guest in order. Not willing to go through that again!
