Das Hotel befindet sich im Norden der Niederlande. Es gibt relativ wenige Chinesen. Das Hotel ist ein reines Business-Arbeitshotel. Das Frühstück ist von 6:30 bis 11:00 Uhr, aber einige Geschäftsleute kommen um 9:00 Uhr ins Restaurant, um Dinge zu besprechen. Es ist tagsüber voll und das Restaurant ist nachts großartig. The owner, Sander, is extremely typical in being tight and inconsiderate of customers who are not satisfied. We had a flood in our bathroom due to the walk in shower, and even though he tried to fix it, it still flooded afterwards. Nothing was done about keeping us happy or compensating for this terrible experience. Showers were limited for us, they were cut short and caused inconvenience with us left with shampoo in our hair! No complimentary drink to say sorry, in fact no-one even apologised for any of the unfortunate events that occurred with the shower! So shocking and completely unprofessional. When I then look at their target audience, I realise the majority of the customers are over the age of 60, so they probably are oblivious to all the problems. Very defensive staff, especially on check out who just looked as pathetic as a teenager being told off. She obviously had been warned by Sander and went straight into defence mode. Again, very amateur and unprofessional. Also, the soap and shampoo facilities for a so-called four star hotel was a joke. Locked in tubes and half empty on the day of arrival. Four or five star hotels usually utilise miniature toiletries. I have travelled a lot and know that this method is typical of 2/3 star hotels or motels, which I tend to avoid. Again a way of saving money and a short cut. Lame. Just lame. The buffet dinner was bland, tasteless and rather disgusting. It is not live cooking - it is a shambles; children fingering all the food with dirty hands, and then expecting us to eat it. No thanks. Waste of money and complete rip off room prices. Best of luck to this potential old people's home. If my grandparents were still alive, I would still not recommend the hotel to them. They would deserve better, as did we. Have the decency not to rate yourself on what is visible on the surface (the view/location etc) but actually on the ins and outs of staying there. It is terrible but the worst thing was the staff's attitude. I am so happy they do not treat customers like this in the UK. Shame on Sander and his appalling staff. Disgusting. Useless. Waste of space. Good luck.

With relatives north of the country, we enjoy staying at this hotel when we are due a family visit. Until recently, the hotel was part of the Westcord hotel chain but has now become an independent hotel. Based on previous experiences, we did not see much of a difference when it comes to hotel rooms, cleanliness, friendly staff and breakfast. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Raalte on a main road with easy access to Ommen/ Hoogeveen (north), Deventer (south), Zwolle (west) and Almelo/Hengelo (east). The hotel is relatively new and looks like an old farmhouse with inner courtyard. Hotel rooms on first floor excist of hotel room and attic with room for a second double bed, perfect for families. We enjoyed our stay, a clean room, comfy beds, coffee/tea facility, all was there. Walls are somewhat on the thin side, we were treated to an evening concert and did not need an alarm to be woken up by lively toddlers in the room next to us. Breakfast was slightly hectic though, the restaurant managed but we had to wait for a table of four and staff was constantly checking and making sure there was enough supply. Breakfast was included in price and a good variety, someting on offer for everyone. Based on our recent experience, we have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Salland Inn.

Wunderbar willkommenes Personal. Entspannende Atmosphäre überall im Gebäude. Elegante Essensräume. Großes komfortables Schlafzimmer mit guten Einrichtungen im Zimmer. Sehr schönes Abendessen (für einen separaten Preis) und ein angenehmes Frühstück (inklusive Preis). Es gibt keine Aufzüge, aber wenn Sie große Taschen haben, könnte das ein Problem sein (das heißt, das Personal hat uns mit unseren Lichtbeuteln geholfen). Das Zimmer, das wir ins Zimmer gelangen hatten, macht es schwierig, herauszukommen, da Sie die Tür nach unten zu ziehen. Ich würde gern kommen und wieder auf dieser Unterkunft bleiben.

Wir blieben hier auf unserem Weg zurück zum Hook of Holland von einer Straße rund um Deutschland und Dänemark. Auf dieser Reise blieben wir in vielen wirklich guten Hotels, aber das Finch Boutique Hotel in Deventer war sehr viel oberste der Liste. Wir konnten es nicht missverstanden. Wir bewerteten das Zimmer, die Atmosphäre, das Frühstück und vor allem das Personal, 12 von 10 (wenn wir das sagen können). Eine absolut wunderbare Erfahrung. Danke. Für britische Reisende mit dem Harwich-Hook von Holland fährt dieses Hotel etwa 1 Stunde 40 Minuten Fahrt. Wir werden es wieder benutzen.
