Clearly this is some apartment building floors transformed in a bunch of small flats. You can see the tiny bathroom was added to a previous regular room, just a drywall sort of thing. Pipes were also added with the refurbishment, you can hear when neighbors flushed or showered. Probably the smallest I've been in any hotel, I was literarily hitting the walls and a soap shelf every time I was moving in there). Then there was a weird smell in the bathroom like mold or canalization, couldn't say. The room on the contrary smelled of food - yes you do have a well equipped tiny kitchen as well. Bed is small/narrow but comfortable, reading lamp embedded in the bedtable very weak spot light, not enough to read for sure. Overall, seems a good value though, if compared with prices at other regular hotels in Zug. I assume price decreases for longer stays, and it is meant to be your home away from home for staying 1 week or more. I only stayed 1 night. There is no reception, you receive an electronic Bluetooth based key on your phone on a special App.
