Hosteria de Zubiri

Pension Usao was beautiful place to stay as i moved towards Pamplona on the Camino Frances. The town is small but pretty. The hostess/owner was a lovely woman who made me feel very welcome and without too much english skillfully showed me where to get dinner and breakfast in the town. The bedroom and ensite bathroom were clean, modern and homely. Upstairs provided a communal area and kitchen along with the sought after camino stamp. Was very impressed with the accommodation and the welcome.

I spent one night here as part of my Camino journey. It’s very convenient for those walking the Camino as it’s just a few hundred yards off the route in the heart of this very pleasant and historic village. I had a very warm welcome from the hostess, who was very helpful and friendly. She let me do some clothes washing, which was very handy. We had a lovely chat in Spanish and she was very patient with my efforts to find the right vocabulary to talk about the region, wildlife and culture. My room was very clean and comfortable. The temperature was in the high twenties but I slept well. There’s no food provided but the guesthouse arranged this with a nearby restaurant for dinner and the excellent Bar Valentin for breakfast. I’d definitely recommend this as a home away from home on the Camino De Santiago. ¡Muchas gracias por la hospitalidad!

Posizione ottima per chi percorre il cammino di Santiago. Pulizia perfetta, stanza ampia, bagno grande e pulitissimo. Cucina a disposizione con uso gratuito della lavatrice e stendibiancheria ampio. A questo aggiungete una accoglienza ed una gran simpatia. Tutto ad un ottimo prezzo. Che cosa si può volere di più?
