Just the best. We’ve stayed at most of the luxury properties in Croatia, and this is our favorite. Everything is perfect, with some slight room for improvement on food and wine menus but already excellent (as of when we stayed in August 2023). Staff is truly exceptional, olive oil is amazing, and the sustainability measures are great. It is expensive but I find it to be better value than other options in this tier.

Design, facilities, food and staff were excellent. Location and small number of rooms provided a quiet and relaxing time. Tour of olive oil production and tasting of award winning olive oils were a feature. Large Swimming pool, internal spa and sauna were great.

Fantastic place to relax and really switch off for a week. • Small boutique resort with only 8 rooms. • Great atmosphere and design: elegant, but not stiff, clean, but very comfortable. High-quality furnishings throughout. • Beautiful, peaceful location embedded in well-maintained olive grove with in-house olive mill (producing prize-winning olive oil). • Fantastic, international team: pro-active, thoughtful, well-coordinated, very friendly. Very kind owners and management that really care. • For example, 12/12 of our morning/evening housekeeping services were timed perfectly during our breakfasts/dinners - we didn't encounter our housekeeper a single time (despite them doing an excellent job). • Very good, high quality food based on very fresh, organic, local ingredients from own garden or small, local suppliers. Sufficiently diverse with daily changing specials (depending on what fishermen caught or could be sourced from local suppliers that morning). Very happy to cater to off-menu custom requests. 2 equally beautiful but very different locations: Grotta 11 000 open stone cave with open fireplaces and grill specialties. 3.3 gourmet restaurant on main terrace with beautiful views of green surrounding hillsides. • Very good and peaceful pool with amazing views down to sea and surrounding islands. • Small but nice spa with excellent Balinese massage therapist. • Very well maintained red clay tennis court. • Excellent starting point for various excursions and day (boat) trips to Kornati islands and Telascica national parks.

Unique experience surrounded by peace, olive trees, very exclusive and extremely comfortable atmosphere. Staff is highly professional, helpful and friendly. Very interesting history ‘behind the scene’. Resort is pretty new but it has strong roots into the Croatian culture and traditions…and olive oil is a key element in this successful chapter. Delicious fresh organic dishes, always including seasonal fruits and vegetables, growing in the beautiful garden behind the resort. Really appreciated the balance between elegant architecture and spaces, extreme attention to details, combined with a familiar atmosphere .. always felt ‘at home’. The island is still quite wild and quiet, and the sea surprised us also: twelve dolphins danced in the water welcoming us in this Croatian paradise!

Simply the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Period. The view, the rooms, the food, the people, the service, the location -- all of it was over the top luxurious. Our only regret was not spending more time there.

This is the best place that we stayed in Croatia and probably one of the world's best. If you are looking for a calm, charming and full of hospitality place, this is the place. This place is not just wonderful but also you will understand the meaning of a perfect staff. This is a must go if you are near this area.
