Hotel Del Pescador

Hotel tried to charge me for DOUBLE payment for my 4 nights stay. I booked by Super Travel 11.june-23, and paid by Mastercard 12.june-23. I showed Hotel Voucher that said all were prepaid by Mastercard. But nothing helped. They still wanted me to pay all one more time. After 2 days with emails, that also included copy to The Norwegian Ambassedy in Mexico City, they still charge me double pay. I felt so unconfortable and UNSAFE there that l moved out. The business they do at this hotel is called Robbery. My advice if you still want to stay at this hotel is, NEVER use a prepaid hotel voucher, and NEVER pay when you arrive at the hotel, only when you check out. They try all the best to make you pay double. Its how this hotel do their business. There are many nice hotels in Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa, so just avoid Hotel Del Pescador if you want to have a nice vacation.

no matter what the response will be from this nighmare place i am a spiritual truth seeker so please believe me. i booked 5 nights and they allowed the cancelation no matter what i should have been refunded the money but the father who is one very very nasty man cursing me. when im trying to be reasonable . ii wound up going fdor 2 nights. the room was awful with the fan not cemented properly with openings all around it. i was frightened it would drop lin the nigjht. im 74 and was put on the top walk up abt 5 flights i have serious prior injuries. i told them it was to high they wanted to move me to the first floor i requested quiet. the picture doesnt truly represent the room. i didnt take the first floor because the noise level the roof was horific most of the night. when i checked after two nights when i didnt leave my roodm due to the extreme circumstances and i travel all over the world never experienced anything or anyone like the owners here. he wanted more than the going price of the room.. i offered a reasonable price like the one that he allowed the cancelation with ********** he refused got his father who was yelling and cursing i was crying from no sleep for two nights and the the nasty father called the police i explained everything crying and they told me to leave and not to worry without paying. i told them i was willing but they said leave no problem. THEY REFUSE TO CREDIT ME BACK THE 5 NIGHTS THRROUGH ********** BECAUSE THEY ARE CRIMINALS TRYING TO KEEP MY MONEY. AGAIN NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY THEY LIE I HAVE ALL OF THIS ON RECORD. THE LOBBY IS DISCUSTING LIKE AN OLD HOTEL FROM A BAD PLACE THAT DOESNT BOTHER ME BUT ALL OF THE ABOVE DOES. PLEASE WRITE TO ME IF YOU ARE UNCERTAIN AND ILL GIVE YOU PROOF NO ELEVATOR

Right across from the best coffee joint in the WORLD and close to all of the (truly) authentic craft shops. Some quality restaurants in the area as well. However, by Mexican standards, the Pescador is a little pricey for what you get...a clean room, a lovely view of the beach, and an enormous communal wrap around terrace. Not bad! if that's all you want... I wouldn't likely stay there again b/c of no pool, but......it IS close to everything!

We just returned from a 2 week stay at the Hotel Del Pescador. We had a lovely time in Zihuatanejo and were quite satisfied with the hotel, but it is definitely not for everyone. We loved the location, the staff, and of course, the view! The hotel and our room were very clean and when we had any issues, they were dealt with (couldn’t get into the safe and they repaired it promptly). However, it would be fair to say the hotel is a little rustic, and very “no-frills”, at least our room was. We were on the second floor. There is no elevator, which wasn’t an issue for us. But the room was quite bare, not even a toilet seat in the bathroom! No shampoo, conditioner or lotion, just a bar of soap. We had to ask for drinking glasses. Having the fridge was great and it worked well. There were no drawers/dressers for clothes, just a closet with a couple of shelves and 3 hangers. It was quite loud at night so we slept with the patio door closed and the AC on. The beds were quite firm (mattress on cement platform), relatively comfortable, but the bedding included only a bottom and a single top sheet - we had to ask for a blanket. There were broken floor tiles on our balcony that were covered up by the furniture. There were cracks and a hole in the tile in the bathroom vanity. The shower head was quite rusted and the water only flowed out one side, but it still did the job. We had no problem with hot water at all. The balcony space was a great spot for watching the sunrise with morning coffee. The shared terrace is a little strange but we didn’t have neighbours most of the time so it wasn’t an issue for us. It seemed to us that the hotel needed some significant TLC, at least on our floor. It has a lot going for it and it could easily be so much better!

Muy bonito, agradable y limpio, justo frente al mar. Tienes una terraza compartida con muebles muy cómodos donde descansar, y como esta en el centro de la acción todo te queda cerca. La habitación amplia, con aire acondicionado a control remoto y ventilador, sanitario amplio, limpio con agua caliente, pantalla plana con Sky y un minirefrigerador, mi habitación con 2 camas matrimoniales muy cómodas, closet y caja fuerte. Ahh... y tienen WiFi en la habitación que SI Funciona!!! Quieres más?. El personal super amable y siempre en contacto, el sr, Edson siempre pendiente, si quieres pasear por Zihuatanejo, ir de fiesta y/o de compras, además de comer rico frente al mar sin caminar mucho, este es tu hotel, tiene las mejores tarifas y la mejor vista. Es la mejor opción en Zihua. Me encanto el lugar. Calificación Total: 9 Lo recomendaría? Si, absolutamente. Regresaría? Si, espero hacerlo pronto. 👍👍👍

Es un hotel muy agradable, desde que llegas hasta que te vas, tuve una excelente atención por parte del gerente y buena atención por parte de los recepcionistas, nos acompañaron hasta la entrada de la habitación, al entrar a la habitación lo primero que pudimos ver es que todo estaba muy limpio, al salir la terraza tiene una vista espectacular del paseo del pescador y la playa principal, el restaurante en la parte de abajo es muy rica la comida y lo mejor es que está en la playa. Lo más bello de todo es encontrarnos con Gabbana en la recepción, es una perrita muy bella y juguetona. Agradezco mi estancia en este lugar increíble, mi familia la pasó de maravilla, espero volvamos muy pronto.
