This is a great hotel and we were surprised that it say its a 2 star. Room was great, really comfy beds. There's a lovely bakery and coffee shop attached and the coffee shop becomes the residents place in the evening. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice and quality was top notch. Loved the city of Zaragoza and would definitely staying here again when we come back. It's really close to the shopping area, the cathedral, places to eat, etc. Everything is walking distance.

We have stayed here several times over the years and consistency reigns. This year however we felt it was even better for some reason we couldn't highlight? The cafe was buzzing at all times, even filling the dining area in the basement which was very bright and cheerful. The food at all times was very varied catering for all diets and the cakes etc are perfection. We think the biggest asset (possibly!) were the staff who were at all times wonderfully cheerful and a happy working team. The location couldn't be bettered and we certainy would never think of staying elswhere. Full marks to all concerned.

Small hotel in historic Quarter, very near some great tapas bars. Rooms are not large but fine for a couple of nights. There are 2 outstanding features: the helpful staff and the coffee shop/cake shop where breakfast is served. It seems to be open most of the day and adds flexibility to your plans. Parking is available for a fee. The downside to a stay is the fact that the airport bus does not stop close by. My option was to use the airport bus to the train/bus station in Delicias then pick up a taxi there. Taxis from the airport seem disproportionately expensive. This was our second stay in 2 years and the service was of the same high standard on both occasions. Don't be put off by the humble star rating, it's a gem.

The reviews don’t lie. This urban hotel is centrally located and value for money. The rooms are a smallish size for a standard double but very clean with lovely retro furnishings, excellent bed linen and very efficient air conditioning. The staff are what make the place special. Without exception they were friendly and so helpful. We thought the coffee and orange in the cafe were great but the toasted sandwiches weren’t very warm and a little undercooked. A minor detail. The reception were so helpful recommending restaurants but there was a festival on and it was very busy. We got some slices of takeaway pizza locally at Pizza Mia nearby which were exceptional and an ice cream from the parlour on the corner across the street. These were fantastic up there with the best we have had in Italy. We were worried about the parking. Our medium sized car was tight but OK, staff guided us which was so helpful. There was another car park a little further away more suitable for bigger cars. Fantastic stay -thank you.

Continues it's unique and friendly service. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the happy helpful breakfast team working so efficiently and seemingly enjoying themselves, real teamwork. Nice to see so many smiling faces. Regretfully didn't get around to the tempting cakes but will do so on next visit.

What a great little hotel that punches above its weight. I booked a single room but they gave me a double. Bed was very comfortable, AC worked and was quiet. Room was clean. Location is perfect right at the historic center of Zaragoza with pretty much all sights within a 5 mins walk other than the Aljafería which is about a 20 min walk away. It is about 40-45 mins walk from train station. If you travel light the walk is no problem and I did it but buses and taxis are available too. Internet speed was solid and better than some more expensive hotels I stayed in Spain. For the price this hotel is a true bargain. Breakfast at the restaurant on the ground level was great and reasonably priced with some very healthy options. No kettle or coffee maker in room. I will also say that Zaragoza was a truly neat little city. It has lots of sights that are interesting and like Hotel Sauce punched above its weight. Get to Zaragoza before the hordes of tourists find it.

Excellent in every respect with one small caveat. Travelling solo I had a single room. The bed was comfortable, it was absolutely spotlessly clean but VERY small and the shower/tub arrangement would present a problem for any one with the slightest mobility issue as you have to climb over the half size tub to have a shower. My tip is to check the room facilities in advance. They are not all identical. Otherwise, everything is positive - well priced, helpful reception staff, tip top cleanliness and housekeeping, the little cake shop serves a perfectly acceptable breakfast.

This is NOT a two star hotel: No Way!! The guy at reception explained that some of the corridors were too narrow to qualify the hotel as a three-star, and frankly that's dumb! This is a 3-star hotel. Our room was spacious, and so was the ensuite. The location is fabulous, right in the middle of the old town, and a three minute walk to El Pilar. They have a deal with one of the closest parking lots that gives you a good reduction. But it's the ambience in the small lobby which makes the place. It serves as the link between two popular cafes, and there's a hustle and bustle that makes you smile. Definitely going there again!

Don't hesitate... Just book! Great location, well managed, welcoming, helpful and just maybe the best choice you will make in your vacation. The windows are double glazed, so you won't hear the bells or the chanting from the churches. (And there are lots of bells and chanting. The location is just so perfect, we walked to everything. Oh and "sauce" in Castilian is willow
