Caretta Beach Resort & Waterpark

IT was great hotel friendly stuff. Clean and modern,everyday cleaning and change towel. Aquapark its amazing. The animation was great Hank you Zizu Chaka chaka Alkoholu and Team excellent. We want to come back. Food every day was different and tasty food.

Hotel is clean, rooms are cleaned and new towels every day. Our mattress was terrible, the springs were digging into you. Can't get a drink until 11am when the bar opens after b/fast closes at 10am. Fruit juice is dilute juice not fresh fruit.

First time visiting and we definitely will be back, theres a variety of food so there will be something that you like, kids loved the snack bar with hotdogs, pizzas, gyros and fries. The water park was great and there’s plenty of pools no Sunbed wars either as you have to queue up for the water park to open at 10.30, kids love the kids show on a night and knew all the songs by the end of the holiday, the staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. 10€ for each child to play on bouncy castles from 6 till 11 at night definitely worth the money to tire them out before bed haha.

There's lots of good things to say about this hotel, with a few minor things which could be improved upon or to be aware of: Positives: - VERY close to the airport (the transfer time is about 5 mins, and you can see planes landing, taking off and taxiing from the hotel). Great for a short transfer with kids, but just be aware of the noise. - Cleanliness - Overall the hotel is kept very clean, we didn't encounter much wrong here. This applies to the rooms. - Facilities - There are loads of facilities at the hotel for all the makings of a great family holiday: more pools than you can swim in, a brilliant on site water park, on site spa, arcades, three all inclusive bars, a good on site shop, kids club with small playground etc. Whilst we did go off site quite a bit, there's plenty to do on site to keep children entertained. There's a fun park attached although this isn't included in the all inclusive, however it is reasonably priced. We didn't personally bother with the kids club. This is open 6 days a week for about 4 hours. It seemed fairly quiet in there from what we could see. There's even a free to use air compressor which is a great touch, so TOP TIP, get your inflatables at Home Bargains before you fly out, then just blow them up when you get there! Save yourselves a few quid! - Location - Great location, 2 minute walk from Kalamki main road with all the local shops, bars and restaurants. - Food - overall a good standard, however is a bit repetitive in the main restaurant. There is quite a bit of variety at each meal time in the main restaurant, however this is essentially repeated daily, so by the end of your stay you will be a bit bored of it. There are two smaller restaurants onsite included in the all inclusive, an Italian which you can go to once during your stay (which is bookable), and a Greek Grill which isn't too dissimilar to the main restaurant, but at least provides a bit of a change of scenery. There is also a great snack bar which is open between 10am and 5.30pm all day which was excellent! Provides all sorts of fast food hot snacks to keep you going, all included in all inclusive. - Rooms - nothing too flashy but equally not bad at all. The safe in the room is chargeable which is unfortunate, but as previously mentioned, rooms are kept clean and any issues are dealt with quickly by reception. - Staff - very friendly and helpful, ordered taxi's for us when we asked, helped us out whenever we needed. They encourage you to check in and book things (the Italian restaurant for example) using the hotel app not which I think still needs a bit of improvement (it's a bit clunky compared to most apps at home), but overall the staff were great. Negatives: - Noise - our room was in block A which was right in the centre of the hotel, immediately adjacent to the evening entertainment stage area. If you're in this block, you're not getting to sleep before 11pm when the entertainment finishes, it's very loud! Yes, we could have complained a

Great family holiday, so much to do with the waterpark in the day and fun centre in the evenings. Food was good, the Greek restaurant was lovely but favourite was the new Italian restaurant. Food was lovely and restaurant manager Tim was really nice. Will be looking to come again.
