"Das Hotel ist mit einem Skiverleih und dem Verkauf von Skilifttickets ausgestattet. Der Preis ist günstiger als der Kauf vor Ort. Das Frühstück ist gut und der Besitzer ist freundlich. Einige Zimmer erfordern öffentliche Toiletten. Der Zug zum Hotel ist sehr entfremdet. Es gibt keine Restaurants in der Nähe. Wenn Sie nachts in der Stadt essen gehen möchten, müssen Sie in den Rückzug umsteigen oder ein Taxi nehmen. Ich hoffe, das Hotel kann eine Waschmaschine installieren."

"Nachdem ich nach Thompse Skifahren geh, bleib hier. Das Glück ist sehr gut in ein Zimmer mit einem warmen Himmel, sehr perfekt und das Frühstück ist besonders lecker. Die warme Innenraumkapazität ist wirklich nicht so, genießen Sie die Reise, die warme Wärme ist gerade richtig, den großen Schnee zu fangen, die Schönheit kann nicht in Worten beschrieben werden."

"Das Zimmer ist besser sauber als die im Vorstellungsgespräch. Es ist sehr komfortabel. Es sollte eine Familie sein, und es gibt Paare, die mit ihrem Bruder und ihrem Bruder zusammen sind. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und schmeckt gut!"

"很不錯的旅店。看起來做為自己經營的旅店，在當地是有根基的，因為房子前一大片都是空地，沒有建築物遮擋的，這需要有些歷史淵源支持。温泉也很好。顯然旅店有自己小而美的堅持，住客需要儘量配合。有規則才能維持美好。跟鎮上其他被推薦的較大酒店相比，它是在坡上，所以景色應該更便利地美，但是需要爬坡，離車站和車站邊上的7-11也遠一些。其他都是完美，很喜歡。"

"First of all, thank you for hosting! Although the building has no lift, but he is so kind and helped me to carry my luggage all the way up to the room. The room is huge, just a bit tough in the morning because there are no hot water. Outdoor onsen was great. Please check out on time, the staff came in exactly at 10am. Sadly this trip I ran out of time, so next time when I visit here, Im gonna go 魚沼の里 and 雲洞庵, thanks for the recommendation from the hotel 😉"

BBrandonVery nice place to stay! Quiet during the spring/summer period due to the area being more popular in winter. Very near Echigo Yuzawa Station within 5min walk. Was welcomed into the hotel nicely with complimentary matcha and snack. Upon check in there was even a cute Gachapon game in which you could win one of their special Niigata/Yuzawa stuff! I won a small pack of Niigata rice.
Room was clean and spacious with a comfy futon bed. The public baths were so nice and well maintained! The staff here are very friendly and attentive. If you did not reserve their special dinner/breakfast set, you can still do say with 2 days advanced order over the front desk. I also love that they provide free shuttle to the station at check out upon request! Definitely staying here again if ever back in the area 🫶🏼

3. Front desk have a local Japanese staff that can speak English. Pretend to be nice not. Anything else , he will tell you don’t know. Go find yourself. Besides selling tickets that he will earn money. You’ll get no information from him
4. 1st day check-in, my in room hot spring tub is slimy n dirty stained wil algae. I scrub a lot out and took video. Same Japanese man came and nothing. Till I show him the algae I’ve scrub and the video, he kept quiet. Housekeeping do scrub off within 30mins
5. Breakfast is same everyday
6. Dinner, slight changes but still 99% same.
7. Child meal is hopeless.
Stayed for 5nights, same meals daily.
8. Want to bring a cake to dinner to celebrate my Daughters Birthday, we were forbidden to do so. Nothing besides what they bring to you.
9. Onsen was good

Hotel is too rigid. It’s really expensive during our visits. The rules at dining and the same meals daily, it’s unbearable. Kids have nothing much to eat
For the price, I’ll not stay in this rigid property. Many other Ryokan resort for lesser price and better options. It’s not ski in ski out and yet price are too high.

IIt’s AGood location, near Echigo Yuzawa station. No hotel shuttle bus to the ski resort (GALA), which is a little bit disappointing, as we tried another hotel that offers a free pick-up/drop-off service.
Food was normal, it didn't really suit my taste preferences though. I enjoyed that pork miso soup the most.
The women's outdoor onsen was meh; it wasn't even warm and had dirt in it. Everyone there, including me, only spent a minute and came back lol Indoor one was fine.
There was only one intern at the reception, and while he was helpful and nice (thank you), he wasn't very familiar with the hotel information and procedures. Perhaps it would be a good idea to assign a senior staff member to work alongside him and provide OTJ training, rather than relying solely on intern.

SSilverGeckoThis is our 3rd week of 4 weeks exploring Japan and so far Yuzawa Grand is the best Ryokan Onsen experience we have had. We could have spent several days there it was sublime. We arrived in the morning and the staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. We had been told by the tourist centre at the train station that the gondola wasn’t operational for 3 days; however the Yuzawa Receptionist assured us that it was operating and showed us that they were even able to sell us tickets at a discount. She gave us a map and bus timetable, showing us where everything was. They stored our backpacks for us and off we went exploring and had a marvellous time. We soaked our feet in the foot baths while having a treat before catching the bus to the mountains. We came back to our gorgeous room which had a coffee pod machine in it. Was so nice having a coffee in the morning looking out the window. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful Onsens before dinner. The buffet at both dinner and breakfast was incredible, everything so beautifully presented and incredibly delicious.
Highly recommend this gorgeous hotel. The staff are fantastic and the ambiance very peaceful.

MMindy-WSehr aufmerksamer Service, es gibt eine chinesische Rezeption, mit dem Auto super bequem, die Station zu dem Schneeplatz zu bekommen, der Fahrermeister ist besonders enthusiastisch, wir starten am nächsten Tag eine neue trockene Linie aus dem Schneeplatz nach Tokio. Die Telefonrezeption hilft uns direkt, die Gepäcke in den Gala Schneeplatz zu schicken, es ist zu bequem.
Das Zimmer ist groß, obwohl ein bisschen alt, aber die Wartung ist sehr gut. Die große Schale im ersten Stock ist warm und kostenloses Schrotflaschen werden verwendet. Die Haut ist am nächsten Morgen sehr lustig. Kaffee und Eiskuchen sind auch kostenlos zur Verfügung. Die Soße ist zum Ende des besonderen Dufts. Die Möbel des Büros sind altmodische Baumstrukturen, sitzen dort und lesen Bücher, eine Menge Duft, besonders heilbar.
Wir kamen am Montag, als ich das Abendessen am nächsten Tag vorbehalten wollte, aber der Koch ruhte am Dienstag. Direkt am Wenxi Street essen, kann auch die Tanze Station zufrieden sein, fast nicht mit dem Gras. Montag, Dienstag, der Schneeplatz ist etwas weniger Menschen und das Gefühl der Erfahrung wird besser.
Vielen Dank noch einmal an die höchste Hälfte der Servicepersonal, die uns eine besonders angenehme Urlaubserfahrung gebracht hat. Nächstes Mal werden wir wiederkommen.

GGastnutzerTravelled here with 2 toddlers and the place is fantastic. We took the room with the open air bath for them to enjoy and it comes with our very own one backyard of snow! The kids were playing in the snow and jumping jn the Bathtub after. The hotsprings are fantastic , they have a huge variety and they switch the female and males after every few hours so you will enjoy diff type of hotsprings.. they even had a tea hotspring where they full up the tub with tea leaves. The amenities provided is great, you literally do not need to bring any of yours, everything is provided, even pajamas. The skii resorts are convenient to get too and when you reach echiga Station, you can ask the tourist centre to call the Hotel for a pick up

GGastnutzerHotel room was good and massive,facilities are abundant as well. The onsen is super spacious and it's thru the night.
Food selection are quite a few but do try to get to Eki for more selections... Just take note of the last shuttle bus back to hotel.
In all the stay was good, just need to take note that this hotel is only allow SKI in / SKI out... But NOT SNOWBOARDING.... That you have to take shuttle bus to other resort location thru its skiing shuttle bus services...

Restaurants inside are nice, but heading out to the village once a while is good too. The walk to village is like 10 mins and very do-able!

AAnonymer BenutzerHotel with hot spring and others facilities like swimming pool and gym room. Room are big enough for 3-4 persons. Location a bit far from town if with car no issue at all. Hotel do provide bus but time limited till 6pm. All staffs could not speak English so communication was an issue if you request something.
