My husband and I stayed for 1 night and wished we had booked it for our whole trip. We had a room with a balcony facing the water and it was amazing. We slept with the windows open to the sound of the ocean and we both slept amazingly. We dined at their Michelin restaurant and had their tasting menu which was phenomenal. Each dish was beautiful to look at and, although we may not have liked the taste of some of the items, it was full of flavors we had never experienced and never will again. It felt like we were in one of the cooking reality shows. From the service to the food, it is well worth the money. Everyone we encountered were beyond professional and helped with whatever we needed (mostly directions to be honest). It is quite a maze but I found that to be part of its charm. Even getting lost trying to find our room was a fun experience that my husband and I talk about to this day. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Der erinnerelichste Aspekt unseres Aufenthalts in Garryvoe war die Nähe des Strandes. Wir blieben 15-17 September 2024. Es war ein voller Mond und ein wolkenfreier Himmel. Die Meerblicke aus dem Zimmer waren fabulös. Der Mond reflektierte sich im Meer mit dem Ballycoton-Beleuchtungshaus/ Insel im Hintergrund. Das Meer war überraschend warm und die lokale Schwimmgemeinschaft hatte einen Mondlichtschwimm. Sehr erstaunlich.

Wir haben im November für 3 Nächte als große Gruppe von 14 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern geblieben, es war unsere dritte Reise nach Castlemartyr als Gruppe und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Wir vermieten 3 der Gate Residences, die genau wie Sie fahren. Die Häuser haben alles, was Sie brauchen, weise und waren absolut unspottbar. Sie sind nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Dorf und 7 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hotel selbst, das super handvoll ist. Das Dorf hat ein Zentrum, Greengrocers sowie ein paar Pubs, so alles, was Sie wirklich brauchen. Concierge Service ist aus dem Haus erhältlich, aber es ist so ein schöner Spaziergang vor allem in der Nacht so würde sehr empfehlen, wenn das Wetter gut ist. Wir hatten Abendessen im Canopy Restaurant in der ersten Nacht und im Hunt Hog beide andere Nächte. Das Essen war absolut lecker in beiden wie immer und der Service war fantastisch. Ob es Frühstück, Mittagessen oder Abendessen ist das Essen wirklich gut im Hotel. Eines würde ich sagen, wenn Sie ein Baby haben, das nur in die Feste bewegt, gibt es keine Optionen außer Suppe. Also würde ich empfehlen, Ihr eigenes zu bringen, wenn Sie ein junges Baby haben. Es wäre großartig, wenn das Hotel in Zukunft etwas wie Ella's Küchentaschen anbietet. Der Pool ist großartig für Erwachsene und Kinder ebenso. Es gibt Zeiten, Kinder zu bringen und sie haben einen Ball. Aber alternativ gibt es nur Erwachsenenzeiten, die auch groß ist, wenn man ein Kühlschrank und ein Schwimmen braucht. Sie müssen auch einen besonderen Verweis auf die Kinderbetreuung auf der Website geben. Wenn Sie ein Babysitter brauchen, wird das Hotel Zahlen geben, um sich selbst zu organisieren. Wir haben Eileen auf jedem Besuch und ich kann ihr nicht loben genug, sie war erstaunlich und so gut mit den Kindern auch. Es ist toll, wenn Sie ein Bit zu essen und ein Getränk zu gehen wissen, die Kinder sind, so werden wir im Haus schauen. Insgesamt ein weiteres tolles paar Tage in Castlemartyr und wir freuen uns auf die Rückkehr in der Zukunft.

We just returned from a one night stay here. We absolutely loved our stay. On booking we were told there was renovations taking place, which we were fine with. We appreciated the advanced notice. We were checked in by Jennifer who was very kind. The lift was out of order and once she saw the amount of luggage we had (as you do with 2 kids) she changed our room to a room on the ground floor. We were delighted and thank you. We had dinner included and it was amazing. Couldn't fault the delicious food and the service was second to none and the restaurant was extremely busy but that didn't effect the speed and friendly service. The room was very spacious would easily fin in another bed very comfertably. Beds were comfortable and we all had a good night sleep. Thank you all for a great night away. Hopefully on our return we will be able to stay for longer.

I really enjoyed my stay in the lovely quaint hotel. This was my third time staying here. They have renovated the bed rooms since my last visit. The shower in particular was excellent. The staff in the hotel are superb. They are ALL really friendly and helpful and a credit to the venue. The food in the hotel is very good. We had a meal last night in the hotel and the steak was lovely. The service was excellent even though the place was very busy so close to Christmas. The Breakfast was really good this morning which was the icing on the cake of our visit. I really recommend the hotel and I look forward to staying in the hotel again in the future. It really is a gem.
