I don't even know where to begin on how horrible the experience was at this hotel. 1. Early check in was not allowed for any of our ball team families, had to wait until 4 pm which the wait to check in was 20 minutes 2. The rooms are outdated and musty smelling, the ac units could be updated 3. When I had asked for a conference or board room, was told there was one available, I asked if it was big and she said yes, asked to book it and was told shed have to get permission (which I'm not sure why) when she came back a couple of min later she told me we can book it and she told me that we would only be allowed a max of 10 people in it and couldn't have drinks in the room. With 40+ people in our group we didn't have a big enough area to eat a team pizza so we resorted to the parking lot by our vehicles, which we were told to leave or we would be reported. When I asked why only 10 and she said its only big enough for 10 4. The swimming pool - a lot smaller than the pics show, the hotel was not allowed to be used, the "life guard or slide patrol officer" was extremely rude and kicked out our kids who are 13, and one who was 16 when i asked why they were being kicked out she told me that they needed to have their parents with them at all times, as they are underage (this has never been a rule for any hotel we have ever stayed at) finally after telling her that if there has to be a parent for every kid there would never be enough room in the pool area, she agreed one adult per three kids. She shut off the water on the slide and closed it down 20 minutes before the pool was to close and we had argued to her to turn it back on as the pool doesn't close yet. They wouldn't turn the slide on until 2 pm. She was caught not even watching the kids numerous times as she was scrolling Facebook. There was a sign on the door that had been printed off of the Government of Sask rules and regulations that stated 12 and up didn't need a parent, they used a sharpie to mark 16 over the 12. I found the rules on the Government of Sask website that says 12 and the manager had told me rudely that the government isn't up to date and that the Government of Yorkton has updated rules. The "manager" then printed their own rules of needing to be 16 or older, and when we came down the next day the Government of Sask rules were removed from the pool door. All of the hotel rooms have rules for the hotel on their doors and they all state 12 years old. 5. One of our ball families were charged an extra $30 a night which they were not willing to change until they refused to leave as we had a group rate which might I add $177/ night isn't worth the price 6. When I told the manager that she wouldn't be getting good reviews, she laughed and smiled and said okay with not a care in the world 7. Breakfast- horrible to say the least, small area where most people had to take their food to their room if they trusted to eat the food that was there. Overall, I can say this is the worst hote
