Harmony House Boutique B&B

We stayed here for two nights, what a fantastic place. The hotel isnt too far away from the park and ride if you want to use that to go in to York, the bus takes about 10/15 so wasn't long at all. On arrival we was welcomed with fresh tea and coffee and sweet treats, Hilary was very knowledgeable and offered us lots of advice on parking and places to visit. Our room was a nice size, very clean and perfect for us, tea and coffee facilities left in the were fantastic especially as it wasn't the little milk pots that I tend to run out of after a couple of cups of tea, we especially liked the fact that there was a mini fridge room so we could have cooled bottle, The bathroom was spotless with a large shower. I loved the decor of the room and fell in love the two seater in the room, this was so pretty. The breakfast at harmony house were fantastic, there was a great selection of fruit juices, cereals, fruit and pastries to help yourself to and cooked breakfasts, omelettes also available. We both had cooked breakfasts on both mornings - the scrambled eggs were amazing. Both Phil and Hilary are fantastic hosts and we will be returning in the future.

Lovely two night stay at Harmony House B&B in the fabulous Great Burnet room. with a walk in shower, and oh so comfy bed. Such wonderful views to wake up to. Tea and coffee milk and a little treat (which i saved then left behind). Adele was the perfect host, nothing too much trouble and the breakfast was amazing, just right to set us up for the day. Stayed here for a long weekend in October with my partner for his birthday. This B&B is so much more than the run of the mill B&B's. The rooms are a good size and very tastefully decorated with gorgeous bedding. It was the liitle touches that really made is special, things like home-made cookies, cakes and scones. A small fridge with bottled water, fresh milk & fresh Orange juice. A large bag of kettle crisps. The en-suite bathroom was fabbo with a large roll topped bath big enough for two and a walk in shower, don't worry about taking soaps, shampoos, bubble bath as these are all supplied by the owner, Bath towels a plenty and are huge & fluffy.The breakfast is tasty, hot & plenty of it served in a farmhouse kitchen at a shared long table where you end up talking to other guests, relaxed & friendly. Will DEFFO be going back and will be recommending to my family & friends. It was lovely to enjoy the hustle & bustle of York but escape to the lovely quiet village of Stillingfleet approx 6 miles away for a quiet romantic evening.
