Premier Inn York City (Blossom St North)

位置適中，步行6分鐘就可到達火車站，景點都在20分鐘步程內，非常方便。房間寬敞舒適，可惜只有一個插座供充電用，實不足夠。

位置很好，對於拿着大件行李出入火車站的朋友來説很方便。房間很大，有些房間需要階梯才能到達。服務相對中規中矩，快捷酒店的水平。

Great place to stay if the weather is good, breakfast was served round the corner at sister hotel, had to walk outside to get to room in another building, which was damp ( crumbling plaster and strong damp smell in the corridor outside our room) and no lift access. Our room looked out onto a beer garden, which may be okay in Feb when the nights are cold but not so much in summer, when it could be very busy and very noisy. Very tired room, mould around bath grouting, scuff marks on skirting boards and the ‘blind elephants’ at 2am and 4 am meant a very disturbed night sleep. I say blind elephants as the noise was like a herd of elephants and blind as every door in the building tells you to tiptoe!

Always stay at a premier inn but was very disappointed this time. Was quite a lot of MOULD in the room and some in the bathroom. Another family reported the same with their room. Breakfast was very poor and understaffed. On a positive note the staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the location was convenient for the train station.

The North Hotel is effectively an annex to the South version, with a lot of separate buildings access from reception across a courtyard. Entrance is via a single fairly anonymous door off Blossom St. As to the room well, a double room with only two pillows instead of the chain's usual four, only one set of towels for two people, but worst of all a dangerous bed. The room we had 2117, is obviously sold as either a twin or a double, and is fitted with two single beds convertible to a double via metal straps at each end. I walked into the strap and caught my leg whilst passing behind my wife who was sitting at the desk opposite the bed , it was bent outwards and unable to be fastened at all. The above all points to poor housekeeping and low standards of room inspection.
