We booked this last-minute, looking for an affordable family getaway—and on that front, Batihan Vadi delivers. It was part of an all-inclusive Jet2 package, and as first-timers, we were genuinely impressed with the overall value for money. The hotel has a boutique vibe despite its all-inclusive setup, which really appealed to us. It’s a small resort and appears to be a popular weekend retreat for locals—a detail we took as a positive. Though it could be busy at times, it still retained a relaxed, intimate feel, which we appreciated. The staff were warm and accommodating, particularly the lifeguard at the family pool, who was fantastic with the kids. Our boys felt truly welcomed and had plenty to do—even without using the kids’ club, which they had little interest in and never attended. To be fair, the club seemed more appropriate for children under six, even though it’s technically open to kids up to ten. The food was a strong point, with all meals freshly made to order from a large menu. However, be aware of what's actually included in the all-inclusive deal—it wasn’t clearly explained to us, and we likely incurred some accidental charges. It wasn’t until our final day that we learned there’s a separate all-inclusive drinks list. That said, even the extras were quite affordable compared to other resorts we've stayed at. The kitchen was flexible with requests—very helpful with our picky eaters. They offer reliable staples like pizza and pasta (lifesavers), but don’t expect classic “kids’ menu” items like chicken nuggets. The ordering system also felt unnecessarily complex, which led to occasional confusion and food waste. The spa was a delight, especially the family hammam and deep tissue massages. But the real highlight of our stay was the family pool—we enjoyed it so much that we barely touched the other activities on offer, which include a mini-zoo, horse riding, archery, mini-golf, and evening entertainment like the kids’ disco and karaoke. That said, while the hotel has a lot going for it, I wouldn’t consider it 5-star. Like another reviewer (Nicola S) noted, there’s quite a bit that could be improved. Some areas felt a bit worn, which we expected at this price point. WhatsApp communication was efficient and handy, but language barriers and a lack of detailed explanations occasionally impacted our experience. Some parts of the resort felt deserted unless pre-booked, and several features weren’t included in the all-inclusive offering, which wasn’t always made clear. Our biggest issue was the room. While it looked stylish, it wasn’t comfortable. There was often a strong sewage smell—likely due to poor ventilation in the plumbing—and we struggled with the overly complicated electric system, especially the AC. The hard pillows and absence of proper bed covers made for a poor night’s sleep, and unfortunately, none of us rested well during the stay. Overall, we found great value for money and don’t regret the trip—but due to the room comfor
