Ich habe Park Plaza gewählt, da es sowohl für den Bahnhof als auch für den Flughafen günstig war. Der Preis war auch für Geld ausgezeichnet. Mein Zug aus Lhasa kam bei 6.30am und ich nahm einen Taxi kurze Entfernung zum Park Plaza ohne Ausgabe. Ich war um 7 Uhr ins Zimmer und wurde angezeigt. Es war schön, sehr geräumig mit einem großen Fenster, und es hatte auch ein freistehendes Bad. Leider könnte ich Zigarettenruch stinken, was in chinesischen Hotels nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Ich bat um ein anderes Zimmer und wurde sofort eins gezeigt . Das Zimmer war identisch, aber die Bettdecken waren ein Kinderdesign und es gab einige Spielzeug und Teepee in einem Ecken . Ich habe einfach die hellgelben Decken nach unten gefaltet und hatte wieder eine schöne schmackhafte Dekoration. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und das Zimmer war sehr ruhig. Das Buffet war außerordentlich gut und der Chef und sein kleines Team waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Klar waren sie sehr stolz auf ihren wunderbaren Buffet und Präsentation ....as sie sollten sein. Es war mein Bestes in China.. Ich fand einen schönen Spaziergang hinter dem Hotel neben dem Fluss, 5 Minuten entfernt. Die Gegend war im Allgemeinen schön, um zu wandeln, sehr anders als mein Aufenthalt im Zentrum der Stadt, wenn ich auf meinem Weg nach Tibet. Ich werde sicherlich Park Plaza wählen, wenn ich nach Xining zurückkehre.
