SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

Yyiyi_tThis room is with smoke smell that unable to subside even until night time. We depend on the diffuser in room to bear with it overnight as we are reluctant to pack & change room. Overall, those who cannot bear smoke smell at all, can avoid booking this place. As this premise allow smoking indoor.
One thing we are unhappy is the lady in restaurant is annoying, we are having our meal but she came to chase for payment multiple times! This action spoiled our appetite. We will pay, please don't keep coming to ask for payment. Or else pls put up a sign to request guest pay before eat!
During breakfast, the table are not tidy up from previous guest. We requested cleaner to clear, the response is to ask us use whichever table is available now! 🙄. Getting table we preferred is our right!

MMaodaren616Die Zimmerdekoration ist sehr warm und verfügt über einen Teetisch, der sich besonders für Familienausflüge eignet. Obwohl es in Wuyishan in den letzten Tagen abgekühlt ist, ist es bei eingeschalteter Klimaanlage überhaupt nicht kalt.
Hier muss ich das Hotel wirklich loben. Die Lage ist wirklich gut. Man kann sehr gut zum Bahnhof oder zum Einkaufen gehen. Jetzt ist der Bus kostenlos, was wirklich cool ist. Auch der Service ist sehr gut. Als ich den Laden betrat, bekam ich ein Souvenir von Fukumi. Der Mann an der Rezeption ergriff auch die Initiative und half uns beim Tragen unseres Gepäcks. Vielen Dank ~ Die Reaktion auf Anfragen zu Reiseinformationen war sehr gut Pünktlich. Um 8 Uhr abends erinnerte er auch herzlich daran, dass unten jemand ist. Es werden warme Desserts serviert. Alles in allem war es wirklich gut. Mein Ausflug zum Wuyi-Berg hat mich sehr beeindruckt. Obwohl das Wetter nicht so gut war, hat es mich glücklich gemacht. Ja, ich empfehle auch jedem, im hoteleigenen Restaurant zu essen. Das ist sehr kostengünstig.

The bathroom is large, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the beautiful natural light in the room.
On the ground floor, there’s a vibrant tea shop where young locals drop by, creating a lively atmosphere. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests.
The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind.
What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests.
Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home.

NNannandexiaowangziAls ich nach Wuyishan kam, habe ich mich für dieses Hotel entschieden. Meine Freunde und ich sind super zufrieden! Erstens ist die Hotelumgebung gut, ein Resorthotel im Villenstil. Die Dekoration ist sehr stilvoll! Das Zimmer ist sauber und ordentlich und es gibt willkommenes Obst! Das Frühstück besteht hauptsächlich aus chinesischem Essen, beinhaltet aber auch Brot und Gebäck. Tatsächlich ist die Lage zwischen Wuyi Palace und Sangu Resort sehr gut, sodass man bequem überall hingehen kann. Der Wuyi-Palast ist die Umsteigestation für malerische Busse und Sangu ist eine Geschäftsstraße mit Restaurants und Teeläden. Es gibt auch kostenlose Massagegutscheine, was eine absolute Überraschung ist. Nach einem Wandertag brauche ich es wirklich! Der Laden zögerte nicht, nur weil es ein Gutschein war. Der Techniker war sehr professionell und seriös! Ich möchte meine Eltern das nächste Mal hierher bringen ~

GGastnutzerAls ich zum Hotel wartete, war die Rezeption sehr enthusiastisch und hilf mir, das Zimmer zu aktualisieren. Dieses große Schlafzimmer ist sehr komfortabel mit einer großen Terrasse, das Zimmer hat einen Backofen und einen Backofen, die einfache Kleidung kann man ein bisschen nehmen. Das Hotel hat eine Vielzahl von Frühstücken, die chinesische und westliche Auswahl ist vielfältig, Das Gefühl des Aufenthalts ist sehr gut. The restaurant manager, Wang Fang, was also exceptionally welcoming. She helped us with getting everything that we needed and took great care of us during our meals.
The cook prepared excellent fresh noodles and suggested what ingredients we should try.
The people that are working in this hotel were the highlight of our stay. Thank you for the great experience.

Morgens ging ich nach Weißen und sah, wie der Chef mir einen Elektrowagen kreditiert hat.
