Zhangjiajie Mido Inn (Wulingyuan East Gate)

My stay at Zhangjiajie Mido Inn was nothing short of a restorative journey, a much-needed reprieve after receiving less-than-ideal results from my recent CT scan. As a cancer patient, I was seeking more than just a place to rest—I needed an experience that would uplift my spirits, and the Mido Inn, along with its caretaker Wu, delivered exactly that. Upon arriving at the inn, I was greeted by Wu, whose warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. He seemed to sense that I needed more than just a room; I needed an escape, a way to reconnect with nature and find peace amidst my worries. Wu went above and beyond, providing me with a hand-drawn map of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and crafting a personalized itinerary that perfectly suited my pace and interests. Wu’s local insights were invaluable. He knew the park like the back of his hand and took the time to highlight lesser-known trails and viewpoints that offered stunning vistas without the crowds. His suggestions were exactly what I needed—places where I could take in the breathtaking beauty of the park and reflect, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The inn itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Each evening, after a day of exploring, I returned to a warm and comfortable space that offered solace and tranquility. The location of the inn was ideal, nestled close enough to the park to make early starts easy, yet far enough away to provide a quiet retreat. During my two-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, I experienced moments of pure awe that felt almost like a healing process. Standing at the edge of towering cliffs, surrounded by the iconic sandstone pillars, I found a sense of peace that had eluded me in the sterile environment of hospital rooms and medical appointments. The park’s natural beauty, combined with Wu’s thoughtful guidance, allowed me to truly immerse myself in the moment, leaving my health concerns behind, if only for a little while. Wu’s genuine kindness and eagerness to help made my time in Zhangjiajie not just successful, but deeply fulfilling. His assistance turned what could have been a standard stay into something truly special. As I left Zhangjiajie, I felt a renewed sense of hope and strength, carrying with me memories of not just the breathtaking landscapes, but of the kindness of a stranger who made a world of difference in my journey.

Our stay was wonderful. Horel's location was great near the beautiful street, so many lightr arroung amd yummy streetl food. The hotel owner was so polite, caring and helping whenever we were in need of smth. Less than 10min walk to Wulinguan East gate. The hotel room was clean and comfy. I will come back one day to explore more and stay at this hotel again. Thanks much to the owner and a chance to visit again, with my Mom. Feeling happy and grateful.

I came with my mom (75 year old) & we stay for 4 night...our trip become amazing because of the hospitality, kindness & helpful from the owner B&B. He give me the lower room that I order & sitting toilet...(easy for older)the room was great, AC , TV, hot water & hair dryer is good & clean..(what on the picture exactly like a real). Because of my limit time to explore , he arrange our trip to explore Zhangjiajie (2day) & take us to the bus station to glass bridge+ grand canyon (1 day). the location of B&B near to east gate Zhangjiajie (just walk for 8-10mnt) , bus stasiun (20-23mnt). The best B&B that I ever stay... highly recommend...just near by there a line strrt become a night market (5-11pm) with the many street food & many store. at morning many restoran near become a prasmanan food with the cheap price. using Alipay become easy... because many store in there acceptable to Alipay. And the B&B easy to be reach by DD (at Alipay)

This hotel accepts foreigners. The location is super close to the entrance of the park. Maybe 5min walking. The staff is nice and helpful although they don't know much English, we communicated with them on WeChat using a translator. They helped with everything we asked. They clean and restock supplies every day. The room is big and the beds are very comfortable. Overall great quality for the price.

The boss and his family are really good people. We felt really safe and loved his trustworthiness and helpfulness. He will plan your itinerary based on your capacity. He will go out of his way to help you. He's also very good at drawing maps. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the Zhangjiajie national park entrance. The room is spacious and has good facilities, good wifi and bathroom. The staff at the hotel were amazing. They were happy to help with anything we needed and went above and beyond. They wrote us a full plan for our day at Zhangjiajie and assisted us with anything we needed. Foreigner friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. 非常非常滿意，體驗感最好的一次旅行，老闆很熱情，房間很乾凈温馨，還幫我們訂了武陵源和魅力湘西的優惠票，詳細給我們講解標註了遊玩線路，按照老闆標註的線路遊玩的很滿意很開心，路上好幾個人問我們的路線圖，直誇我們遇到的老闆真好！推薦的溪邊湘菜館有特色非常不錯，還打折了呢

衞生很乾凈，是老闆自己打掃。床單被罩雪白，一摸手感就知道是洗乾淨曬過剛換的。一共有五層樓，天台上有兩部洗衣機，可以曬衣服。地理位置也很好，離東門很近，走路五分鐘，而且的士還可以直接開到客棧門口。老闆人也很好，我本來衹打算住一晚，就先訂了一晚的親子房，第二天換去南門住，後來臨時改了計劃，打算住兩晚，結果沒有親子套房了，就先訂了個標準間打底（因為懶得倒騰酒店哈哈哈哈哈）後來一直刷APP親子房也沒人退訂，本來想標準間就標準間吧，湊合一下得了。結果到店給老闆一説直接給我升級了調成兩晚親子間，也沒多收我們的費用，太感謝了。就算有些小問題，也立馬解決，很滿意。老闆還提供手繪地圖，很熱心的幫忙規劃路線，全程都沒怎麼排隊。大家都給我去住，性價比超高的。而且老闆還跟我同姓，更是親切三分。祝老闆生意興隆財源廣進哇。
