Whale House Guest House

Our stay at the Whale House was nothing short of spectacular. It was so peaceful and serene.We were lost in the moment and loved the landscape and scenery. The place was very tidy and clean. It certainly had warmth and character.The hot tub was an added bonus. Relaxing and enjoying the view and fresh air.Everything we needed was right there at our fingertips. Host Amanda,was phenomenal with all information provided and prompt replies made it an even more enjoyable experience. Thank you…we’d love to come back again for another stay!!

Excellent location to explore the area and hike part of the East Coast Trail right out the door. Very handy to have a fridge and cooking facilities. Host very attentive. Really liked their values in terms of conservation. Perfect set up for hikers needs.

This was a beautiful location to stay. Only steps away from the trailhead of the Tinker Trail part of the East Coast Trail, and close to the Mobile Trail (to Witless Bay) where we saw whales, seal, and sea birds. The location was quaint, we pulled up to ducks and blue jays, and the garden in the back is beautiful. The room was clean (had to put toilet paper in a garbage and not flush and there are ducks around if that’s a no for you), but we loved every part of our stay.

Had the Beach House suite with hot tub. Gorgeous view with large picture windows on two sides. Lovely big room, king bed -mattress was amazing. Shower and hot tub amenities were all good. Lots of games and books available. Hot tub was perfect and Amanda lowered the temperature for us before arriving. Furniture and artwork was lovely. My comments below are minor but might be thoughts for future improvement for others. We plan to go back next summer as we enjoyed the experience so much. My reason for not giving 5 star was there was no coffee creamers/whitener in the room which we only realized early morning. Also would be nicer to have drinking water kept in fridge rather than on the counter. I was a bit concerned how long it might have been there. We used tap instead but the only sink was about half the size of bar sink. TV did not work and kept getting stuck spinning.

We spent one night here as it was close to a wedding we were attending. The space was great for what we needed and the bed was SOO comfy!! Everything was up to date and modern! Would definitely recommend this as a perfect little getaway spot! We loved it!

The space was exactly as advertised. Very comfy bed and everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Sweet garden to relax in with two East Coast Trail directions to head to just steps from the front door. Great time! Highly recommend the Fork Restauant which is a 2-minute walk from the suite.
