3-Sterne-Hotels in Windsor

I stayed at the Prince Albert with my family (2 adults, 2 children) as a stop over prior to going to Legoland, given it’s close proximity. We had a ground floor family room, which had all that you would expect and was true to its rating. Though a little dated it felt comfortable enough. However for me, I found the bed far to hard for my liking (some might prefer that). The window to the room opened on to the road and even with the window closed the noise, though not unbearable was there till late. The window could also benefit from black out curtains to block out the traffic lights. The bathroom, again basic, was very clean and did the job. However, though it worked well with very good pressure the shower cubical was not in a good state. The tiles weren’t straight or level, the sealant in places was so thick it looked like it’d been applied with a trowel which was untidy and had resulted in some of it splitting and the sealant and a lot of the grout and ceiling above the shower had some mould. The light and fan for the bathroom were on an automatic sensor, and though the fan could be isolated there didn’t seem to be a way to turn the light off, which when you have children that go to the toilet through the night can be a little annoying, even with the door closed. As I said, despite what are probably minor problems, the room was comfortable enough and the staff were very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and unfortunately this was not good experience. The staff member was attentive and friendly but after placing our order were then informed that one item had run out, this happened to another family on a different item. You would expect to be informed about missing items prior to ordering. For starters we had ordered some garlic bread and chicken wings. The garlic bread appeared to be shop bough baguette with what seemed like grated cheese from a packet on top. The wings were double so quite big, however the outer skin was quite tough but the meat inside was nice and juicy. However the BBQ sauce tasted very generic without much flavour. The mains were ribs and a chicken burger with Mac and cheese for the children. The ribs appeared to be grilled and were a little over cooked, the chips tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. Unfortunately the chicken burger was also over cooked. The mac and cheese, though for children were a good portion size. The breakfast was the opposite, despite a technical issue, it was all cooked to order, very tasty and very good portion size which I have to say defeated me. All that has been listed are fairly minor and really wouldn’t be much to change. All in all that stay was comfortable and served our purpose

Sechzehn von uns kamen vor ein paar Wochen als Teil einer Hochzeitsfeier, check in war reibungslos, eine sehr besondere Erwähnung an ”Grace” auf Rezeption eine sehr freundliche Person, die in jeder Weise für uns ging aus ihr, hatte immer ein Lächeln für alle ein paar Leute das Frühstück unter Standard, kleine Platten usw. Die Platten könnten ein bisschen klein gewesen sein, aber es stoppte niemand wieder aufzuheben für eine zweite Hilfe Grundja, aber eine Menge heiße und kalte Lebensmittel, gemütliche Kaffee aus einem Versorger Nicht sicher, ob es uns oder was war? aber sie liefen aus Stella und Becks und wurden nie für den nächsten Tag leider erfüllt, wirklich, da es nicht viel Auswahl an Bier gab Unser Zimmer war grundsätzlich mit einem sehr komfortablen Bett mit frischen Blättern und einem Schönes Badezimmer mit schöner Größe im Dusche, Reinigungsmittel machen einen guten Job ohne Beschwerden dort Gesamt, nicht zu schlecht nur Basis

Die Rezeption des Hotels befindet sich in der Fußgängerzone und sucht schon lange. In der Nähe des Bahnhofs und Windsor Castle, bequemer Transport und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel ist sauber, aber es gibt wirklich nichts außer Badetücher.

Stayed just the one night - two rooms - travelling with family to visit Windsor Castle. This accommodation totally met our needs. We were greeted by a friendly on site building manager /housekeeper/host/receptionist (a man of many talents!) who kindly checked us in an hour early. Both rooms were clean and extremely spacious - nice to have a dining table for takeout if required with spotless (and again large) bathrooms. It was a chilly weekend but rooms were quickly very warm and cosy once we turned on the electric heaters. Worth noting that there were also aircon units for summer use. It couldn’t be more centrally situated, tucked away on a small side street just steps from the Castle, High Street, and Royal Station shopping development. There is no on site parking but we went with the recommended King Edward V11 option about a ten minute walk out of town and reasonably priced at £10 per 24 hours. Nothing to fault beyond the fact that the other members of our party, whose room was at the end of the hotel closest to a neighbouring night, club did hear some noise but were not seriously disturbed. Two small but welcome additions to the room would be a fridge and coffee maker for which there is certainly space but this is a minor criticism. Also, just an observation - be aware this is not a traditional hotel with 24 hour reception. There is no reception as such but the friendly manager is there to admit and greet you between 9-5:30 pm (and he’ll happily look after your luggage during this period both before check-in and after checkout which is very helpful). Outside of those hours, access to the building is via key pad lock. We were initially a little nervous of this but it all worked well and was not a problem for us. In case of issues, there is an emergency out of hours phone number which is re-assuring. Self-service breakfast is available at a very reasonable price but can’t comment beyond that as didn’t take it. All in all, at the very reasonable price paid - we booked direct - this is highly recommended, excellent value accommodation for any Windsor stay and we’ll certainly be returning.

All rooms at the Trooper have private entrances, they all have ensuite shower rooms with toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities and TV. The 2 bedroom apartment is ideal for a Family with young children, due to it's layout the apartment is not recommended for 4 adults. There are many cafes near by that will provide Breakfast and reasonably priced paid parking can be found nearby, we do not have storage for bicycles.

Nach zwei Tagen in Legoland bleiben Sie hier eine Nacht, gehen Sie durch die Bar und es gibt eine Art Empfang über sie. Sie sagen Ihnen, dass es keine Frühstückseinrichtungen gibt und wie man ins Hotel kommen kann, wenn Sie zu spät rauskommen, aber nicht wie man morgens rauskommt, mehr darüber später. Sie zeigten uns ins Familienzimmer, durch einen Kaninchen-Krieg von Passagieren, wo das Dach so niedrig ist, dass es Schaum angebracht ist, um zu stoppen, dass Sie Ihren Kopf zu buchen, jetzt sagen sie es ist ein 300-year-old Inn. Die ersten Eindrücke des Zimmers waren gut, groß und auf verschiedenen Ebenen, mit viel Tee und Kaffee. Sie sagen Ihnen zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung, dass das Familienzimmer den Biergarten überblickt und kann ziemlich laut sein, es gibt eine Form von doppeltem Glas, aber dies war eine der heißesten Nächte des Jahres, jedoch, Es gab einen Fan im Zimmer und ein Eisschub aus der Bar machte das in unser Klimaanlage. Jetzt für die Probleme, wenn wir in unsere Telefon-Ladegeräte alle Lampen begannen zu flicker, das wirklich prüfen muss. Am Morgen wurde der wahrscheinlichste Grund für die Dampfkarte gefunden, als Sie auf die Dusche wandten ging überall, da die Dusche alt und zerbrochen war, dann das Wasser nicht schnell genug weggespült, und die Duscheta überflüssig. Ich hätte diese Probleme morgens dem Personal erwähnt, wenn es jemanden gewesen wäre, aber es war nicht. Die Tür zur Bar war geschlossen und es war eine Schlüsselbox auf der Wand, um die Schlüssel zu verlassen, dann verließen Sie das Gebäude durch einen Notausgang, Dies führte zu einer engen Passage, die die Bins, gemütlich, dann in den Biergarten. Die Haupttür zurück in die Bar war auch verriegelt und Sie mussten herausfinden, dass es eine Tor war, die Sie herauskommen konnten, aber Sie hätten nicht wieder reinkommen können, wenn Sie etwas vergessen hatten. Eine andere Sache, wir haben unser Enkel früh ins Bett gesetzt und ich hatte ein paar Getränke aus der Bar, um ins Zimmer zu nehmen, über £22 für eine große G&T und einen Whisky & Ginger Ale, jetzt das ist noch teuer als Legoland und ich dachte, dass es schwer gewesen wäre, Beat!

Die lokale Bar wohnt oben und unten in der Eden Richtung Winsa. Das Bett ist sehr ruhig. Es ist für zwei Personen geeignet. Es gibt keine Elektronik, Holzböden, relativ rückständig. Das Hotel ist ein Fluss. Viele Tage sind 🦢 Alles ist gut. Das Hotel Frühstück ist sehr gut. Es gibt auch eigene Sauen und Rinder. Milch. Sehr ruhige Stadt ist ～ 10 Minuten von der Bahnhofsstation entfernt und viele Bars essen sehr gut 👍
