Vergleichen Sie viele Hotels mit Wilkes-Barre, wählte ich schließlich das Best Western-Hotel im Zentrum von Wilkes-Barri aus, und ich habe zehn Tage gelebt. Es fühlt sich gut an, das Hotel hat ein Gefühl der Verwandtschaft und des Aufenthalts ist sehr entspannt und sehr gemütlich. Ich habe dieses Hotel kurz nach dem Abflug wieder aufgenommen, weil ich es gewöhnt habe.

Das Zimmer war schön, sauber und das Bett war komfortabel. Ein eingeschlossenes Frühstücksbuffet war einfach, aber gut. Der für ihn verantwortliche Mann war ständig auf der Bewegung Erfrischung von Essen, Getränken und Reinigung. Es gab auch ein angrenzendes Freitag Restaurant. Die negativen waren ein Shuttle, das von und nach der Hochzeit lief. 12 Personen im Wagen für 20+ Minuten mit NO Klimaanlage auf einem 90 Grad Tag! Nur die Vorderseite 2 Fenster funktionierten. Männer in Anzügen und Bänder starben, wie die Damen in Kleidern. Einige Leute, die wegen der Kapazität des Wagens einen SUV genommen haben, erwähnten, dass die A/C nicht im Wagen arbeitete. Das war eine sehr arme ”Amenity” von einem Marriott.

Ich habe ein Zimmer mit Küche gewählt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer ist groß und hat ein Wohnzimmer. Einfache Hamburger Steaksalat im Küchenbereich zuzubereiten ist kein Problem. Es spart Geld, und Mahlzeiten sind ziemlich teuer. Das Sofa kann auch zu einem Bett erweitert werden, es ist sehr praktisch von der Autobahn und es bietet ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

My family and I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days at the Woodlands Resort. Our room was located very close to the outdoor pool. Here is a list of pros and cons: Pros: - There are rooms with glass doors that open up right to the outdoor pool. - Both restaurants had a great variety of food and offered great happy hour and lunch specials. - Nice indoor and outdoor bars with great drink specials. - They have music play certain nights in the indoor and outdoor bars. - There is a night club open on the weekend if you like dancing. - The scenery is very nice and there is a nice stream located on the property. - They offer free breakfast to guests Monday through Friday. Cons: - The heater was broken for the outdoor pool and it was cold. - The indoor hot tub was also broken. - The indoor pool is located in a very dark room, but it was heated. - The hotel rooms near the outdoor pool are very small and there is barely any closet space. - The pool only had two tables with umbrellas, but there were lounge chairs all around the pool. - The pool is surrounded by trees so there is not much direct sunlight. The sun does peak through in certain places throughout the day but you have to move around the pool to catch it . The shade is nice, but with a cold pool I would have liked less shade. Final thoughts: Our family of 4 stayed in the room. It was two adults and a 14 and 15 year old. They made us pay an extra 10 dollars for each child per night. After they told me about the charge I asked if they will then provide a roll away bed and they said it would be an extra 10 dollars a night for it. This then then raised our price per night by 30 dollars. When I first booked the price seemed economical but after adding all the fees for our children and then dealing with broken pool heater and hot tub, and the small room I am not sure the price was worth it. I heard the hotel was recently taken over by a new company so hopefully they will fix some of the problems and update some of the rooms.
