A beach resort such as Oasis can have all the advertised amenities and location in the world means absolutely nothing when their office staff, namely Shirley, has all the professional standards of a wild badger, and whose ability to listen empathically to a paying guest is as cuddly as a cactus. While staying is a Glenwood Ave rental I received a parking ticket. My car was parked legally according to the Oasis policy and did not block any driveways. Nonetheless, the rental office called the police to ticket my car without any justification. When attempting to resolve the issue with Shirley, over the phone, she blasted my wife with insults and lies. She said she told one of our friends about the car - conversation NEVER took place. She said that we can park in front of the driveway - that is against their own policy). The final insult was when she totally lied that someone called the Police, when, in fact, she initiated the call to ticket a vehicle that is was owned by a paying guest (verified that the rental office called by the Parking Police Office who wrote the ticket). The ticketing Officer agreed (the next day) that the car was parking legally and the management office said we were not a paying guest. This last part is a direct lie about our status since we were indeed paying guests. I think Shirley needs to find a new job that does not involve contact with people or that involves the use of a telephone. If this is how Oasis treats a paying guest, what chance do you have with this unprofessional business for any other transaction. Stay in North Wildwood if possible. Jeff S.
