"Besuch in der Premier Inn Whitehaven. Ich blieb in einem zugänglichen Zimmer mit einer Dusche auf dem Boden. Das Zimmer war sauber und es gab einen Fan im Zimmer. Ein Mitglied des Empfangsteams begleitete meine Tochter in mein Zimmer, als sie für mich etwas verlassen hatte. Anstatt ihr nur einen Raumschlüssel zu geben, damit sie Zugang zum Gebäude und zu meinem Zimmer erhalten konnte, überprüften sie, ob sie es war, was sie gesagt hatte, und dass ich froh war, dass sie Zugang zum Gebäude erhalten konnte. Ich dachte, das war sehr guter Service und fühlte sich sicher im Hotel. Meine Tochter war auch beeindruckt. Auf einer anderen Lage auf einem früheren Aufenthalt hatte meine Tochter nachdem sie um sie gebeten hatte, einen Türschlüssel für mein Zimmer gegeben. Es wurden keine Kontrollen durchgeführt, um sicherzustellen, dass sie mir bekannt war und dass ich glücklich war, dass sie eintritt, so dass die Mitarbeiter im Whitehaven Premier Inn so wach bleiben, während sie professionell, freundlich und freundlich bleiben, Ich war sehr beeindruckt und wurde während meines Aufenthalts sicher fühlen."

"I arrived on a stormy night in the lake district - on entering the hotel I was met with a warm glow from the log fire and a very warm welcome from the receptionist. As the hotel dining room was about to close, a room was sorted and the kitchen kept open for an evening meal - a delicious melt in the mouth steak was a pleasure after a 6 hour drive from the south of england, washed down with a welcome glass of Shiraz. The bed was very comfortable, the room had a large bath and separate shower cubicle and copious hot water. The decor and fittings were in sympathy with the age and history of the hotel, a pleasant change from the blandness of more modern mass market hotels. The staff were very friendly and it was a pleasure to be assisted without having to use automated impersonal systems. I will not hesitate to stay at the hotel again when I am next in the area."

"We have stayed here before and always enjoyed it, sadly would not return. On getting in our room my husband went into the bathroom and was met with 2 soggy yellow loo rolls, which were quickly replaced, then we noticed the towel heater was leaking, and water was on the shelf explaining the said loo rolls. We were told we could move but only available room was in attic with a bucket in middle of floor as roof leaking. There was no heating on till sometime in the night after we'd gone to bed . We'd found a heater and put it on so we ended up being overheated. No tumblers in bathroom to put our toothbrushes in, pillows not comfy so we both had bad night sleep. Food wise, at evening meal my husbands fish was childlike and mostly batter and the chase burger wasn't up to much. He ended up eating 2 packets crosps when we got back to room as still hungry. Breakfast we had to look for someone so we could have butter on our toast. Only plus side were the staff, who were lovely."
