St John's Guest House

We booked the whole house for a family get together. It’s not easy to find places big enough for a large number. St John’s Guest house was perfect for us. The dining room was configured for a large group, the sitting room was lovely and comfortable. The kitchen area is small but well kitted out. The bedrooms had the right configuration for us, and it’s great that they’re all en-suite. It’s really close to the beach, walking distance from the town, parks and RSPB sanctuary. Chesil beach is a short drive (or bus trip) - for fossil hunting. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

Recommended by friends spent one night, very warm welcome from Lynn made us feel at home straight away. The room was spotlessly clean. All you need was there and a nice touch with the tea and coffee tray and fresh milk and the small treats of biscuits and sweets. Bed was really comfortable, and we both slept really well,also very quiet. We had to pre-order breakfast which was not a problem for us before we went out for the evening and its location is 2nd to none as a ten minute walk and you on the front and are in the center of all shops,bars and restaurants. At breakfast, we met Lynn's husband Andy, who was very friendly and could not do enough for us. The breakfast itself was of high-quality fresh ingredients a definite 10/10. I would definitely recommend this guest house if you are thinking of coming to Weymouth. By the time we left, it was like saying goodbye to old friends.
