Lantana Guest House

We recently stayed in room five, our favourite room with fabulous views of Weymouth beach. John and Sandra are fabulous hosts and made us feel very welcome for our three night mini break. The bed is super comfy with a newly refurbished shower room. We love having a sofa and mini fridge in the room just perfect. The newly refurbished terrace was fabulous to sit and enjoy an early evening drink with fabulous harbour views, also lovely to sit during the day. We would thoroughly recommend staying at the Lantana. We ate at our favourite restaurants Rockfish and Oliveto both we would also highly recommend. Also great location for a lovely coastal walk to Bowleaze Cove.

The B&B is fabulous! The house is lovely and our room was very comfortable with a nice view out the front of the house. The back garden is really nice on a sunny day for breakfast or a glass of wine. It's in a great location. Walkable to everything, and the breakfast was great. Most of all, John and Sandra are fantastic! They are exactly what you want your host to be! We would absolutely stay here again!

Brilliant b&b . John and Sandra are fantastic hosts and so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble . Beautiful rooms with either sea view or harbour . Breakfast was great with choice and cooked to perfection using high quality ingredients. Perfect location . Can’t fault anything . The latana is definitely our go to B&B in Weymouth and will be back . Thank you both

Where do I start, I suppose with the hosts we were welcomed by john, the welcome was one of the most friendly we have had for a long time, he made us feel welcome and at home. The accommodation from what we seen (only been here a few hours) is lovely probably the best one we have stayed in, in weymouth, our room is at the front, is spacious, clean, and looks nice, from initial inspections, so very happy.

Stayed in room 5, a spacious room with a sofa and chairs to look out over the bay and a small fridge which was handy for keeping milk in for tea and coffee, bathroom is nice with a hot shower,room is nicely decorated and a kingsize bed, mattress is firm and comfortable (my husband enjoyed it more than me as I prefer a more marshmallow bed), my husband slept very well, note if you are light sensitive bring an eye mask as there are shutter that let the light in but not too bad, there is a small step into the bathroom which is small but has everything you need.there is a smart tv on the wall but we never switched it on so unsure what is on it. 2 breakfast sittings 8.15 and 9.15 there is bread to toast , jams a fruit salad and pain au chocolate and a cooked option of english breakfast and a self service coffee machine also a choice of orange juice or cloudy apple juice we only had breakfast on the last morning due to our own error of reading the menu on arrival which had pre order written on it and I never know what I want till the morning but that was cleared up as it is only for a vegetarian breakfast. All in all a very nice hotel with a relaxing atmosphere within easy reach of everything and excellent hosts who are attentive but not intrusive, we really enjoyed our break and will book again on our next visit to weymouth

Wow, what can I say about this beautiful hotel and the hosts John and Sandra Our room was room 4, beautifully decorated room, with amazing views of the harbour .binoculars in each room too to check out the beautiful views too, which we thought was a lovely touch The full english breakfasts are freshly cooked to order every morning by Sandra and amazing,( we had one cooked by John one morning and it was equally delicious) along with fresh fruit salad, cereals and pastries and beverages. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts, they certainly know how to make you feel welcome and want to come back, so down to earth and friendly. We are already planning our next stay in September.
