Oaklands Guest House

Fantastic B&B , Clean rooms ,cozy & within walking distance of all amenities. Teresa & Tim were super friendly & accommodating . We used this as a base to walk around Weymouth , Chesil beach etc etc . The breakfast was super tasty 10/10 . Definitely we will stay here again . Highly recommended

Fantastic place to stay! Very clean and well maintained period property, with an interesting history! Our room was a good size with great tea/coffee making facilities. There was even a mini fridge to keep items fresh. Everything was replenished daily, even the wonderful selection of biscuits! Breakfast, which was included in the price, was superb! There was a good selection of serials and yogurt offered, followed by a fantastic Full English or special of the day. The Eggs Benedict with Salmon ( Eggs Royal) was delicious! All breakfast’s were served with a choice of eggs 3-ways, the poached eggs were perfectly done every time! The hosts, Tim & Teresa and all the staff, were very friendly and welcoming throughout, which helped make our stay in Weymouth a wonderful and memorable one! We will definitely be visiting again!

We loved our two nights at Oaklands. Very comfortable room, beautiful cooked breakfasts with daily specials and well located within easy walking distance to beach front and restaurants/cafes. What really impressed though was the warm welcome we received from Tim and Teresa, how friendly and helpful they were and the efficiency of their staff.

Tim and Teresa where amazing host's, nothing was too much trouble for them they made you feel so welcome in their accommodation.A lot of time ,thought and care has been put into making their guests feel welcome we didn’t want for anything. Breakfast was 1st class such a choice of fresh fruit and continental breakfast and then a wonderful choice of cooked breakfast which again was definitely 1st class. All the staff were friendly. Room spotlessly clean.Decor in very good condition as was the building throughout. Bed was comfy lovely selection of tea,coffee,hot chocolate and biscuits and such a treat to have a fridge in the room with fresh milk and two flasks of water.

Oaklands is situated in a quiet area of Weymouth but with walking distance to the beach and the town centre. Tim and Teresa were a very warm and welcoming couple. The room and ensuite was a good size and had all we needed. The breakfasts were perfectly cooked, and there were many other choices all were of the best quality. We were in Weymouth for the Seafest weekend and I'm sure we will be back next year and definitely stay at Oaklands.
