Stayed in family room with pre-teens. Room as fine, however getting a little tired round the edges. Main problem was it was a stormy night and with one large opening window on ground floor we had to leave it closed and it was very stuffy in the room with no air con. Location for the Rosslare ferry was great, and close to leisure max made a perfect stop for overnight before the early ferry as plenty to entertain kids-teens. Had a lovely evening meal, and breakfast was great although bare in mind it is table service which I imagine could be an issue for getting early ferry if busy and not up early enough.

The hotel is walking distance from the harbor, and the old trade town. it is a minute from the gift shops. it is 15 minutes from a soft sandy beach with facilities. The hotel is warm, it has heat-which is not always the case. we froze at another hotel and some castles are damp. Maybe one is paying a little more- but you get what you pay for. it took a minute to figure out how to use the elevators-but that is for our security. the beds were comfortable. Also-the pillows were comfortable-not too FAT-i don’t like Fat pillows- they are neck breakers. There is parking. it was overall a lovely visit.

We are3 friends who have been returning to the Ferrycarrig Hotel for years for our annual holiday. The Hotel is fabulous - first class location and facilities. All the staff are just fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them. It’s like coming home each year. The breakfasts and evening meals are amazing. I have to adhere to a gluten free food regime but thats never a problem here. It’s the only hotel I have no worries about this and am facilitated in a no hassle manner. We cannot compliment the staff enough from Jean on reservations to Lucy, Supervisor, Ellen and Kim on front desk, to Derek the perfect charming gentleman/host manager at breakfast and Eoin and Alvina and the wonderful chefs in Reids restaurant. Thank you all. Highly recommended. A+++++

Wir verblieben im Hotel und haben heute Nachmittag eine Check-in. Die Rezeption war wunderschön und wir hatten eine weite Küche, obwohl wir es sehr überpreist genossen. Es ist unser Geburtstag für unsere kleinen Mädchen heute und wir hatten sie mit 2 Nächten weg überrascht, so letzte Woche habe ich gefragt, ob wir ein wenig Behandlung in das Zimmer für sie wie eine glückliche Geburtstagswüste hinzufügen könnten, aber sie sagten, das könnte nicht getan werden- wir waren bereit, für die Zusätzlich. Nach dem Essen brachten wir unsere zwei Kinder im Alter von 10 und 3 zum Pool, meine Kinder lieben den Pool und es ist das absolute Highlight für sie. Ich war in der kleinen Sektion mit meinem Toddler und mein Mann war in der großen Pool mit meiner Tochter, es gab eine Frau in einem Abschnitt des Pools, die Schwimmunterricht gab, ich konnte sie aufregend sehen, als mein Sohn mit Aufregung schrie. Plötzlich habe ich diese Frau hören schreien “kein Sprung in” sie wiederholte das zweimal, bevor ich merkte, dass sie mit meiner kleinen Mädchen spricht, das dritte Mal schrie sie aggressiv und schlug ihre Hände an meinem Kind. Ich sagte sofort: „Entschuldige mich, dass sie hört, dass du nicht schreien kannst“ mein kleines Mädchen war wirklich traurig und erklärte mir, dass sie an der Seite des Pools stand, als sie ihren Bobin ins Wasser ließ und dann zum Ende schwimmen, um es zu finden, versuchte sie nicht zu Diese Frau, die wir für den Rest der Zeit im Pool waren, starrte auf meine Tochter, die ganze Zeit war sie sehr beängstigend und sie dauerte jeden Oz meine Energie nicht, sie zu behandeln, aber ich wollte meine Tochter nicht weiter stören. Ich hoffe, morgen wird ein positiver Aufenthalt sein.
