Der Service war gut und das Hotel liegt in guter Lage in Perth, 20 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt und in der Nähe des King's Park.

Es liegt direkt an der Autobahn und ist daher nicht geeignet für alle, die Ruhe brauchen. Die Federkernmatratze ist schlecht – ich konnte nicht gut schlafen.

Die Unterkunft bietet Mini-Apartments mit Küche, Bad und einem Doppelzimmer mit Balkon (mit Blick auf die Autobahn). Ganz ordentlich, solange man abends keine Kakerlaken sieht, vor allem nicht in der Küche. Empfehlenswert aufgrund des guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses, aber man sollte sich Kakerlakenspray besorgen, wenn man länger bleiben möchte.

Tolle Nähe zu Kings Park und der Stadt, aber Sie werden wegen der Autobahn Ohrstöpsel brauchen. Zimmer im alten Stil, aber angemessen. Ein neues Rolltor zum Balkon könnte gut sein, da es so schwer zu öffnen war. Unzureichende Toilettenartikel. Bringen Sie Ihre eigenen mit! Der Service war freundlich und hilfreich. Ich brauchte Hilfe mit meinem Fernseher, was rechtzeitig behoben wurde. Gute Wäscherei. Die Raumaufteilung ist falsch – Sie müssen das Wohnzimmer gegenüber dem Fernseher haben und den Schrank verschieben. Ein bisschen Farbe und saubere Fenster würden den Wert der Wohnung steigern.

Location is very good, walking distance from the CBD (15-20mins). Apartment is a bit old, but thats okay. Room was clean too.

Always great to stay here when I return from overseas. Nice big clean quiet bedroom. Kitchenette is handy, laundry facilities downstairs. Comfy bed. Affordable.

Went there to spend 3 days in Perth, the service is excellent, they allow me to put my luggage after checkout because my flight is not until 6pm. Place is old, and somewhat outdated, and u do hear the traffic from the freeway. But, for the cost for the night, which was $120, overall, it was good value for money. When I first arrived, as it was after hours, I dealt with the caretaker, who was friendly, and also helped me get into my room, cos I was having trouble with the door lock, which was my fault! I didn't use the kitchen facilities, except the fridge, but kitchen was equipped with enough items to be able to cook a meal easily. Bathroom was good, with shower over bath, (and big size bath too), so with not having a bath at home, I soaked for ages! I was informed before arrival, that only mini soap and toilet paper was provided, so I knew to bring body wash, hair conditioner, and other toiletries. Bed was comfy, and bedroom is quite large. TV maybe a little small, but the room had a couple of cupboards, and some hangers for clothes. Place was fairly clean, keeping in mind that it is an older property. Check out was easy, and I was met by a friendly receptionist behind the desk. I would definately stay again, if the price was as good, I'd just bring some earplugs for sleep, cos of traffic noise, which is no fault of the apartments of course!

Bizarre place. 15 mins walk from Perth station and 5 from RAC Arena. Really should have everything going for it, but I have to concur with other reviews. The whole building could do with a lick of point. My apartment was good size, didnt use the kitchen so cant comment. Huge living area with comfy bed. Telly is tiny so rendered pointless. Bathroom is good, but only 2 bars of soap, no other amenities. Couple of spiders found as well. All in all, for a couple of nights its fine, but the place has huge potential if the owners wanted to invest.

However, at the current pricing, which can be perceived as elevated, I would likely explore alternative options.

It’s just 1.1 km from the central train station, and you can hop on free bus services like the Red CAT, Blue CAT, or Green CAT, with stops only 100m to 250m away—perfect for easy commuting. Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus. Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness. Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own. Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!
