Carpeting needs to be cleaned in hallways. There should be NO MOPPPING near checkout time in lobby or near elevators, esp. w GUESTS that have canes or walkers🤨. Reservations made in advance a should be honored if requests are made. I never want 1st floor or too far from elevator. I should not experience negativity because I fill out a REVIEW, either, in any form/treatment!!🧐 This company treats 3rd party purchases with negative & unacceptable treatment? Why? I pay Uber for my transport to hotel and that isn't cheap. Being put in a room w outrageous heater noise,asking for transfer to another room,and experiencing another MALFUNCTIONING NOISY heater system and getting no sleep. Next time there, put on 1st floor w noise up&down hallway most of night. I REQUESTED NO 1ST FLOOR!!. SEEMS TO ME TO SMOOTH OUT DELIBRATE bad customer service, and willnnot refund the cost of theee nights, Microtel should be AWARDING this guest w some NO CHARGE (4) NIGHTS🧐

The chairs provided in rooms r not clean,I put a towel on the seat B4 I sit down: this is obvious w anything else made w fabric: not the bedsheets...they always are clean Very glad that all the flooring in wood/linoleum. The woodwork and such needs touch-up/or repainting by those who know how to paint wood.In some cases, the wood needs repair,therefore the 'look' in the room is rundown and tawdry. Plenty of towels,soaps&toilet paper. No phones work,if they r even there,in the room,so,the guest has to contact lobby desk(hardly gets answered) w guest's own phone. If the guest insists on a PRIVATE room NOT ONE W DOOR ATTACHED TO ANOTHER ROOM,that should be honored. Also, I would like to be reimbursed for the four stays I wound up w a 'shared' wall. The noise, groans & annoyance from those adjoining rooms were just intolerable! This happened more than once!!! The excuse was that it was the only room left AND ACCORDING TO SITE, that was not true!!! In a hotel room,consumer law, there is the expectation & presumption of privacy. I ubered to this hotel and did not want to spend MORE THAN I SHOULD to then Uber out, just for a room especially since the vacancies were listed on the site NO EXCUSES EXCEPTABLE. The breakfast nook was clean, filled and adequate.

Do not stay here! This place is a real shithole. The staff are nice when thinking about the level of the hotel, but as somewhere to spend you night, the hotel does not tick any boxes. Before you get into the room the rugs on the hallway is extremely dirty, once you step in you will be shocked by the noisy aircon, broken wall, dirty bathroom, bed looks like not been cleaned. And it is so noisy when upstairss are walking, you can even hear what is you Neibough doing at night. I can understand it is not easy to manage a hotel, but either you make it right, or please remove it from all booking platforms.
