Villas Sur Mer

We had an amazing vacation… Food was delicious staff were very accommodating. We all felt Safe … security did an excellent job making sure we were safe at all times … well kept property provided drivers for daily activities. Celebrating life Birthdays and private memorial service.

I should've known something was wrong when I researched this place and saw they haven't had a social media presence since 2018. Places that are modernized and well kept have marketing to attract guest. I imagine this place was once beautiful inside and out based on how the grounds are kept. But the rooms (At least the one they gave me) as trash! Mold, mildew, bathtiles look like a child repaired them. Dirty and deteriorating floors with an attempt to conceal with paint. Windows shutters that don't close all the way and old furniture! Front desk never had change or solutions to find change. And when I asked for someone to call a cab for me, there was a panic because I didn't ask 24 hours in advance. I briefly spoke to Carmen the manager, but I think they need to shut down a few of the suffering villas and rebuild. NEVER Again

We booked for a 2 week stay in one of the villas. After we arrived we were informed that most of the items to be offered in the reservation would not be available. We were told that the water in our villa was bad and we should not drink it. The hot tub was out of service due to some water issues. The pool was very dirty and very low on water and the color showed improper chemical balances. It looked bad. The kitchen area we planned on using was completely unusable and had little to no utensils to use. For water they brought in one of those 5 gallon plastic jugs and handed it to us to use. No dispenser just hold it up and pour and it cost us $10.00. There was more but this tells a story of all not provided. The place was totally misrepresented in our opinion. If we had known of these issues pre booking we would not have booked there. We stayed 1 night and left in the morning for another resort for the rest of our trip. The staff was nice and friendly but this place was not for us at all.

We enjoyed our stay at Villas Sur Mer immensely! It was a girls trip to celebrate a milestone birthday and sisterhood 🌺 Carmen, the General Manager, was such a JOY - made sure that our time there was special. Made great recommendations for places to go and things to do! Marlon was a great friend to us while we were there - keeping us safe and arranging a very special birthday lunch at Bourbon Beach! Venon was wonderful - keeping the resort safe and always greeting us with his cheery disposition 😊 Akuma was a kind and gentle soul, who kept the resort safe and was a joy to be around! Housekeeping was very attentive and we wanted for nothing! Miranda was a sweet girl who bartended there and helped Carmen surprise me with a beautiful balloon display on our patio for my birthday ❤️ The resort was clean and comfortable. It was so great to have our own villa with two hammocks! We spent a lot of time relaxing in them at night. Location was perfect. Away from the *****, but very close to some wonderful restaurants. We went to the LTU several times because it is just steps from the gate, has a fantastic view of the sea, the service was top-notch, and the food was wonderful! Ivan’s has amazing food and the sunset there was out of this world! Rick’s is steps away as well, although it seems to be a tourist attraction, so very busy and loud. I am sure we would have loved it when we were younger! Carmen recommended the Skylark for beach days and we loved it so much we went every day! About a 10 minute cab ride. Service was over the top - we loved our server, TJ , and the food/drinks were just wonderful! Not to mention comfortable and situated on a picturesque piece of Seven Mile Beach 😍 This was the perfect vacation - exceeded expectations, and I will cherish these memories forever. Cannot wait to see them again when we come back to visit 🖤💚💛

It was raining when we stayed here, so we didn’t have a lot of interaction with the staff or site amenities. We were impressed with their villa on the ocean and the cave leading to the ocean pathing it’s way beneath the road was trippy and cool. The two bedroom villa we stayed in, had a decent kitchen and bed. A poor design was an open air window in the bathrooms leading to many many mosquitoes. The Villa didn’t have any mosquito control, standard coils, mosquito netting or vapes and we were bug food.

We just came back from our stay. We were for 7 nights and it was peaceful and relaxing. This is the off season so there aren't many tourist around like in the winter months. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. The villa we stayed in was cute and quaint with lots of charm. They have Netflix. You are in walking distance of quite a few restaurants, bars and stores being on the west end. We enjoyed pur stay. We thought the staff was welcoming and attentive. They have a beautiful pool and hot tub area that is perfect to sunbathe, swim in the cooling pool or lounge in the hot tub. Being that it was offseason, we were typically the only ones out by the pool. i imagine in the winter the resort is booked and busy. All in all a very nice stay!

My wife and I and two adult children are closing off a nice first week of 2023 at Villa Sur Mer! We had 6UP, which is a two bedroom two bath cottage with a small kitchen and living area. Loved being off the ground level, great privacy, air conditioning and fans in every room that worked great. We loved the super comfortable bed and pillow, access to Netflix and TVs in each room. Kitchen was well equipped but make sure you stop at the Megamart in Montego when you arrive to stock up on milk and eggs, bottled water, bread snacks etc to enjoy breakfast out front of the cottage or at the pool. Three minutes walk to Rick’s and 15 minute walk to Ivan’s..we alternated between staying at the Villa and going down to Seven Mile Beach. Note: this is a jungle rustic feel and you will hear exotic birds and roosters, even a cat or two, late at night or early morning but no complaints from me (no loud booming music at odd hours)!Thanks Carmen, Marlon and crew for your great hospitality! TIP: if you are going to the beach, head out early to Skylark Hotel where you can use their awesome beach cabanas and chairs at no charge if you order a meal and drinks.

Beautiful Property it was very scenic. Nice pools. My room was awesome. Clean. Loved the porch with the table and chairs and the cute little swing. The staff were really nice. Shout out to Horace. He was a big help getting me in my room, showing me how to get to different places. I would definitely stay here again.
