Premier Inn Dumbarton/Loch Lomond

Fabulous staff team, they were all extremely friendly and very happy. A great atmosphere throughout the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and provided all that was needed. Thank you especially to Julie who served us our dinner and breakfast.

I love this hotel and have stayed numerous times over the years as it's extremely convenient for work. It's always kept incredibly clean and the beds are very very comfortable. The staff are always so kind and cannot help the guests enough, they really make this hotel what it is and help make it an enjoyable place to revisit. The only one negative is the wifi, or lack of it. Even the Ultimate wifi option is awful and I usually end up piggybacking off of my mobile phone. That aside I always enjoy coming back, and that's because of the remarkable group of people who work there.

Great hotel! Ideal location for exploring! Clean and comfy. The staff were amazing and made our stay extra special. Special mention to George M in reception! He went above and beyond , helpful, knowledgeable and always smiling. He deserves recognition .

After a 7 hr drive and when you get to the hotel before 15:00 £15 charge to check in early!!! Free Premier inn Wi -FI is terrible, cant load anything it feels that the free is made terrible so you have to pay and upgrade for the ultimate. Ultimate should be free in the 21st century. Shame on you Premier inn, you make enough money to give this service for free! About time you provided the coffee pod machines in the room!

I am a frequent visitor to this hotel primarily for the location. Every time I check in I usually ask for a room on the top floor for the main reason that the floors are not adequately soundproofed for a hotel. Especially in the extension to the original hotel which although boasts nicer rooms is like staying in a house with basic sound proof between floors. On this occasion because reception was busy I was directed to the automatic check in machine and received a room on the ground floor in the extension. I had some of the worst nights sleep ever. The second thing is the WiFi - don’t bother. It needs a complete overhaul. Whether on the free WiFi or if you upgrade to what’s called ‘Ultimate’ WiFi both are pointless Thirdly the restaurant. Filthy and run down. Finally the so called Good Night Guarantee. It doesn’t exist any more. Yes you can find it online complete with t’s and c’s and as well as that it’s emblazoned on the wall behind the reception desk. I enquired about a refund for one night after there was a fault in the fire alarm which went off in the early hours for a few seconds. It terrified me and scared my young daughter to tears. Neither of us could get back to sleep for a good while and made for a poor nights sleep. When I asked about a refund I was given short shrift and told it no longer existed. I wish there was another option for a decent sleep, WiFi and food but…

Great helpful and friendly staff. Always good on the location front, however, there is a "but" here. Even though Premier Inn endorses the fact the rooms are non smoking, an ex guest seems of took it upon themselves to smoke in the bathroom in my room. It really smell terrible of stale smoke. Really dreadful. However, I spoke with the front desk staff and they changed my room straight away with no fuss - thank you guys
