Or you can kick back and relax in one of five spacious and comfortable bedrooms. With three king, two queen, two full and two twin-sized beds, there's ample room for up to 16 guests. The surrounding area is quiet, in a forested area and is nestled towards the end of a road at the top of a windy hill. Upon arrival, you'll be able to pull into a private 4 car driveway and breath in the fresh mountain air. Inside, you'll be welcomed by a beautiful view, vaulted ceilings and an open concept dining, sitting and kitchen area. On the first floor, you'll get to enjoy a covered patio with a grill, the main (king) bedroom, full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen and living space. The bottom floor includes 3 bedrooms (x2 queen and x1 with a bunkbed), laundry room, full bathroom and access to the bottom deck from two of the bedrooms.We are delighted to open our home to dogs (only) and have provided a large crate (42in x 31in x 27in), large dog bed and dog bowls for your use.For those who like to stay active, you'll have access to yoga blocks, 8lbs dumbbells and indoor spin bike. The exterior of the house is enclosed with a 6 foot fence, perfect for the fur friends who are jumpers. At the entrance, you'll have a quiet place to enjoy a beverage, but the majority of the area is mostly suitable for canines to explore. The house is heated with electric heat (walls) with thermostats in every room. Plenty of cozy blankets and pillows will make you feel right at home.One level living is perfect for all generations from young to "mature"! The primary bedroom is large with a slider that accesses the deck and private en suite bathroom. Bedroom arrangements allow for 10 people in traditional beds (1 king, 2 queens, 1 bunk bed with full below and twin on top, 1 twin trundle best for a child or smaller adult) however we will consider 11 people if you choose to use the pack n' play or inflatable queen mattress provided. Due to Clackamas County STR restrictions a 11 person limit will be strictly enforced and violations could result in penalties. Parties/events are not allowed.Enjoy the warmth that the onsite sauna provides at the house but you also have access to the Mt. Hood Oregon Resorts year round heated pool and hot tub that is just minutes down the road. As a guest of The Warming Hut you will be able to access these resort facilities during your stay free of charge as well as tennis, basketball courts, exercise room, playground and putting green. You must check in at the main lobby and show your reservation confirmation to get your free pass.Location is key and you will find yourself able to walk the many paths that lead around the golf course and find yourself catching glimpses of the beautiful Salmon River along the way. If your ready to explore there are so many fun things right out the backdoor from forested hiking trails to extensive mountain biking options. River View Chalet is on almost an acre of wooded property with private access to the Sandy River. Beautiful views of the river from the deck. This home is centrally located to all of Mt. Hood has to offer like skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, water activities, biking, golf, local shops and food. This home is still private enough to have a relaxing vacation. The vaulted great room has a floor-to-ceiling wall of windows and the best view of the woods with the river peaking through. Relax in the hot tub after an adventurous day of exploring the mountain while listening to the river flowing by!The space -just 55 mins from Portland -Almost an acre on the river with private beach for camping, fishing, and enjoying a fire.-House has neighbors not completely secluded- close to amenities and shopping-15 mins to ski bowl -hot tub while listening to the river flow, bbq, and eat dinner on the deck with a view.-fire pit by the house and down by the river -well appointed kitchen -open floor plan-over sized jetted tub -loft with views of the river -games in garage for when the weather is bad -No pets except service animals.
