Karapuzha Village Resort

The resort is absolutely gorgeous with stunning views all around. The staff is ever helpful and available. We went with our senior pet and every request was accommodated with a smile! Lots of space for younger kids to play ***** with many indoor games. The rooms are amazing! There are multiple options to choose from. A big thank you to the team for making our experience memorable!

Recently i had stayed in KARAPUZHA VILLAGE RESORT for 2 nights, the resort just surrounded by Lake, big room with balcony, separate luggage room with attached toilet, the view from the balcony spectacular, the delicious order made food was served, the rates are reasonable...the walk in the night was a great one... Real value for money. The special appreciation to Manager abhijit and team, who suggested us the nearby tourist places..including the tea gardens.

Please avoid this resort to the extend you can. One of the worst in Waynard in terms of service. Road towards the resort is very narrow and at a time only one car can pass and if there are two car facing each other then there is no option to turn their car and provide space to other cars to pass. Main head of the resort by the name of Mr. Vishnu is very rude and he doesn’t understand the term customer service. Although the resort says that pets are allowed but they will charge you Rs 1000 per night to allow the pet to enter the hotel room and this is not mention anywhere is the website. If you reach early before the check-in time, then again you have to pay Rs 1000 for early checking and the same is not mention in the website. Although the room is available they will not allow you to check-in unless or until you pay them Rs 1000 extra. Restaurant service for lunch and dinner is too slow. You might end you waiting for an hour or two to get 2 paratha or chapatti. They don’t have cook or service staff and even billing is not correct. One of the worst resort, I have ever been to.

We stayed here from 14 Mar 22 to 17 Mar 22. Enchanting place made more beautiful by the hospitality of the resort Owner and his Team of pleasing employees. Ever willing staff and very friendly. Always forthcoming with valuable suggestions about the place, food choices and life around. Would love to revisit this place again.

I wouldn’t even call this a resort. It has a lot of greenery but the lanes inside are pretty congested and narrow. View of the lake is good. We had booked the private pool room which was decent. Now coming to the negatives- - The food. Dinner buffet is pathetic with just basic choices and they discourage customers from ordering any additional food ! - For lunch, we ordered basic paratha and chicken curry. Paratha is good but the curry is nothing great. - Even the restaurant has a boarding school type policy that you yourself have to empty the plates and keep it in a common area after your meal. I think this was a way to optimise staff since we didn’t find them cleaning the tables during meals. If you go late for a meal, it was a struggle to find a clean table. - Both the days I didn’t get coffee after 7. First day we were told milk got over. Second day I was told that we cannot provide tea/coffee at 7pm !!! Really? - The Wi-Fi in our room never worked. - The hot and cool taps were reversed. Cold water came from the hot water tap and vice versa. Both me and my kids burnt ourselves twice. - Parking is limited so cars are all squeezed into the small area that they have.

We stayed in Karapuzha resort for 3 days from 29th April to 1st May. It is a decade old resort trust me one of the best with reasonable pricing. We booked for premium rooms only complimentry breakfast. Place is Simply awesome with waterfront view. Vishnu really a humble person and Robin are 2 people who really guide you well and gave all info around the place.
