Oleander Farms, Karjat

Dealing with the mangement for my 15 member event has been a sheer nightmare. While the place is beautiful, i would not recommend corporate events. They are very raw at handling basic requirements for Corporates. Menu, venue, agreed can be changed by them arbitrarily a day prior to your event.

The property is good. The staff is very cooperative and prompt in service. The process to connect to the restaurant salt t and common house, is quite lengthy. We have to call to reception and they will speak to the restaurant and will come back to us with restaurant's reply

Oleander Farms at Karjat is a fabulous luxury resort and a hidden gem. While booking, we were skeptical of spending so much for a relatively unknown and unbranded resort, but our experience at Oleander was even better than many branded resorts. This resort is also home to the famous Saltt Restaurant, which serves lip-smacking food and is a must-visit irrespective of whether you stay at Oleander or not. The entire resort is spread across a large area, and we have to use the resort's vehicles for commuting. We stayed here for 2 nights in their Lake View facing rooms, in a newly constructed wing. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The lake itself is quite average, so the premium pricing for this view is not worth it if you're contemplating. This new wing has its own lake-facing Infinity Pool, which is so fabulous that we literally spent 3 days just soaking here. They also have another swimming pool in their older wings. The dining facilities and other attractions are located far away from here, but they are easily accessible by the resort vehicles. Among other attractions, there's a small vintage car museum, indoor video games, Bowling Alley, and outdoor play area, which can keep children busy for at least 2 days. The resort property also has cafes and open spaces for peaceful enjoyment. Overall, this hidden gem is a must-visit for those who seek a luxurious stay close to Mumbai or Pune. Good food, great place to stay - what else do you want?

We stayed at the prime suites and the panoramic view of the sea is simply awesome. Pros: 1. Decent food and prompt room service 2. Pick up from the airport was smooth 3. Very clean rooms and surroundings things that need improvement 1. Approach road to the beach: it is a public beach, and water was overflowing from the hotel's drainage on the roads, making it very muddy, much after the rains had stopped 2. The staff on the beach is very laid back and one has to ask them multiple times to even give a towel 3. The airport drop was a nightmare, as the cab booked from the hotel almost hit two vehicles and was all the time trying to convince us to visit spice and handicraft shops 4. A big let down was that drinking water was served in plastic bottles in the room. These were single use aquafina plastic bottles. At-least glass bottles should be provided in the rooms from a hygiene and sustainability angle.

Everything was excellent. The property was beautiful. Our room was impeccable. The food at common house was yummm. They even made special khichadi with veggies for my baby. Pool and amenities were in excellent condition. Overall a great experience at oleander farms! will visit again and recommend friends and family!
