Our family stayed at AKA White House this past week and we had a wonderful experience. All of the staff members were so helpful and professional, including special shout outs to Sergio, Alex, Janae, Imran, and honestly everyone else we interacted with. The hotel was very clean and laid out nicely, I love the concept of a suite with a whole kitchen and living room. Our family doesn't typically stay in luxury hotels but this time we decided to "go big or go home" and honestly if you can spring for the two bedroom terrace penthouse I would highly recommend it, the perks include endless Nespresso pods and a lovely box of complementary truffles. We loved eating meals on the private terrace and drinking coffee outside at sunrise. I couldn't believe how big the hotel suite and the private terrace was. The neighborhood area around the hotel is very safe and I felt completely comfortable going for walks alone. The White house is only a 5 minute walk away, so that was fun too. The hotel is easily accessible to Uber and rideshare services as well. We would highly recommend AKA White House and we hope to stay again in the future.

AKA White House lived up to our expectations and more! We were there for 8 nights, and the staff made us feel like family by the end of our stay. Alex and Jessika specifically went above-and-beyond to make our trip memorable. Our room was a two-bed, two-bath suite with H Street view. The photos on TripAdvisor perfectly represent what you get - clean, bright, spacious, and comfortable. In-suite laundry at AKA was a specific selling point for our family, and it was great to have during a hot summer family vacation in DC. From beginning to end, the staff at AKA were helpful, friendly, and responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this hotel to DC travelers in town for long vacations.

The apartment was clean, neat and quiet. Front desk staff were beyond professional and courteous. My only complaints are the toilet was not working in the master bath nor was the shower working properly. It did have all the kitchen necessities. The only thing missing was oven mitts. Walking distance to the White House and the museums of you don't mind walking. Would definitely stay here again.

Booking the stay at AKA White House was a GREAT decision. it is 2 blocks away from the White House. My first day I easily walked to all the monuments and took a scooter down to the Capital. Check in was a breeze and Miles was so friendly and helpful as it was my first time in DC. HOLY COW was the suite amazing, CLEAN, and perfectly decorated and full of amenities. Janae at the front desk greeted me with a smile each time I came back in and the entryway smelled fantastic. It was a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the sidewalks outside. Did I mention the whole place was CLEAN? Highly recommend the AKA White House, whether it is a short or long stay.

Great hotel with beautiful apartment-style suites. Loved the full kitchen and laundry machines. Lobby was gorgeous. Very helpful staff. Would absolutely stay again, especially considering the price and location close to everything.

My family of four spent a long weekend here. The spacious apartment was clean, well equipped and a super base for exploring DC. Staff helpful and efficient and location is superb - close to metro stations and just a few blocks from the White House. Sort of a hybrid between hotel & apartment - it was exactly what we needed. Kitchen is well equipped although you do need to bring even the basic essential consumables. I certainly hope to be able to use other AKA properties in future.

Our 5 night stay at AKA White House was wonderful. I was initially booked at another hotel when I came across AKA’s listing. I spoke with Sergio and he was able to explain what it is that makes AKA special. I changed my booking and couldn’t be happier with my decision. We stayed in a 2 bedroom H St. suite (10th floor). This was a home away from home. The spacious apartment gave everyone the privacy they needed. The kitchen was great for preparing meals. We had groceries delivered to our room. When we needed to cook, we had every utensil or plate needed. The location is perfect. If we were tired or just done for the day, it was a short ride back from all the attractions. We parked our car in the parking lot. It’s tight but we never had a problem finding a space. There is a bus stop right outside the door so getting around DC was no problem. Thanks to Sergio, Shelique and the rest of the staff at AKA White House. We’ll definitely be staying here again when we return to DC.

Great staff, spacious suite, great location!! Bathrooms need a bit of updating, more attention needs to be made when cleaning the shower door track/caulking cleaning. Overall our stay was perfect. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
