Wir fanden dieses Hotel als angekündigt. Die Zimmer waren groß, modern und sehr komfortabel. Schönes Badezimmer und gut ausgestattet. Wir fühlten dieses Hotel gut für den Buck bang. Das Personal war ziemlich freundlich und beantwortete alle Fragen, die wir hatten. Wir hatten dort ein so-so-Dinner, als es ein bisschen Fahrt zum nächsten Restaurant war. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel für einen Halt.

Super awesome staff. The hotel was packed but the staff was well prepared and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. This was my first stay at this hotel. First time to Portland, also. If I ever go back to Portland I will chose this hotel because of the staff, specifically Sherif Samy, the front desk supervisor. What a joy to have met this gentleman. I had a mix-up with my dates and booked a hotel for the wrong date for my trip to Portland. Luckily, there was a room at this hotel available and Sherif couldn't have been more helpful with my special requests. I had expiring credits with two of my credit cards that I wanted to use but needed my final bill split between two cards. You never know how well someone will understand your request when you are asking for a slightly different procedure than normal. In my case, I had to spend a certain amount and then have the bill split between two different cards to fully use my credits. Both Sherif and the equally great gentleman who checked me in the night before understood what I was doing perfectly. They both explained my final bill and how they would be splitting my room charge. There really was no need for me to ask Sherif Samy to confirm before I checked out that my invoice would be split between two cards but I was spending more than I normally would for a room and Sherif was sympathetic and double checked for me. He showed such great care and appreciation for me, that I was truly moved. Not only did Sherif give me comfort from knowing my final billing would be handled correctly, he gave me the most unexpected gift of all. It's silly, but I was wearing a very inexpensive t-shirt I got from Target almost 2 years ago. I hardly ever wear the shirt but anytime I do, I always get compliments on the design. Then, people always ask where I got it and are floored to learn I got it at Target. Well, Sherif did the same. He complimented my shirt but went on to explain why he liked it so much. Turns out, I was wearing a shirt with Egyptian symbols depicting the pyramids and sun. I had no idea and this most certainly explains the uniqueness of the shirt and why so many people have complimented me on it. Then, Sherif showed me his personal pictures of the pyramids and Egypt. He was such a joy, and meeting him was the best treat of my whole stay at this hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. Despite the hotel being sold out, I had no problem finding a seat for breakfast or getting food. A waffle machine would have been nice but honestly, the choices were plentiful. I got a very generously portioned pasta salad the night before from the bar that was enough for two meals. The young woman working the bar who took my order on June 29, 2024 was just as great to meet as Sherif. Despite the full hotel, I was the only person at the bar/restaurant. Update: The hits keep on coming at this property. Embassy Suites Hillsboro will change your reservation on a whim. At first it was just my reservation that Embassy Suites moved to another property without notifying me. Now three members of our group have been moved to another Hilton property without warning and were only notified upon arrival at the Embassy Suites. The reservations were made approximately one month prior to arrival. Please consider this when booking for a group or family travel. You could end up in our situation, where our group specifically booked at Embassy Suites to coordinate meetings and local travel together. Embassy Suites will separate you and move you to another property. Perhaps you will be traveling with your family, and you book at Embassy Suites for the room configuration you need. Then without your knowledge or consent, upon arrival after a long day of travel, you and your family are moved to another property and end up in a room with one bed and a minifridge. Embassy Suites will graciously allow you to use their amenities that you originally booked, but don't expect anything else to make up for the inconvenience. In fact, the attitude conveyed is that you should feel lucky they allowed you to have a bed anywhere. Do not take the chance. Book elsewhere and avoid Hilton properties, at least in the Hillsboro/Portland area. Original Post: Guest beware, especially if planning group travel. Hilton changed my reservation to another property without my consent or knowledge. I booked through Hilton as an Honors member approximately one month prior to my intended stay. I was traveling with a group of colleagues from a variety of organizations to meet and collaborate in the Hillsboro area. I directed everyone to stay at the Embassy Suites for coordination purposes. Upon arrival (after cross-country travel), I was informed that I was being moved out of the Embassy Suites to another Hilton property. There was no prior warning and minimal recognition of the inconvenience caused. I asked how is it even possible for Hilton to move a reservation secured a month prior to another property on the day of arrival. The front desk manager responded with a shrug and vague answers. Management at the Embassy Suites and at the property I was moved to treated me as an inconvenience. My attempts to resolve this with the front desk staff at the Embassy Suites were met with indifference. I will be directing my team to avoid Hilton properties. I've never had something like this happen in years of travel. If you're planning for a group, I would suggest a Marriott property.

Room was nice. Pillows are not the best. They went flat and hard very fast. Had to ask for covers for the pullout couch. Pool is TINY with no seating away from the splash zone for parents to watch. Breakfast was phenomenal with good choices.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for exploring the area, whether you're shopping, dining, or taking a stroll in the nearby park. The staff were always helpful, friendly, and polite whenever we needed assistance. Our outbound flight was scheduled for late afternoon, so we requested a late check-out, though we weren't expecting much. However, Jay went above and beyond to accommodate our request and graciously allowed us a late check-out at no extra cost and gave us tips on places to visit in the area. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

We enjoyed our brief one-night stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, and the staff is top-notch. We did have a minor billing hiccup but nothing that wasn't resolved quickly and that didn't detract from our stay. We really do have to give a shoutout to the staff. The area was suffering after a major winter storm, with lots of ice and power outages. The front desk agent that checked us in was super friendly and very efficient. We even got cookies, as IHG members, woohoo! If there's any quibble with the hotel, it's the restaurant. The food was only so-so, but the staff was again, incredibly friendly and efficient. We'd definitely stay here again, no problem.
