I've stayed in other hotels previously when in Warrington for work and this time someone recommended staying here. It's a small hotel (only 15 rooms) I think, so it can get booked up quickly! The pictures on the website make it look very nice and relaxing, and I can confirm that the hotel does look like the website. The room was a good size and had everything you need for a short stay. Comfy bed, desk area with tea/coffee/biscuits. Nice bathroom with a powerful shower. Big TV (which was too 'smart' for me. You can stream from your phone, or watch YouTube , but I did struggle to watch actual 'normal' TV channels. Not an issue as I was only there for 1 night otherwise I would have asked someone for help) The window had a blind on it which blocked out every bit of possible light (much better than any other hotel room I've stayed in) However, there was a bit of light coming through under the main room door, and I noticed I could also hearing some coughing and other noises during the night. Room would be even better if they made the doors a bit tighter and they would then be soundproof. Continental breakfast is included or you can choose to pay £10 for a cooked breakfast. I just had a latte (which was very nice), Croissant (warm and fresh tasting!) and a bowl of fruit. Great that this is included in the room price. All the staff I spoke to were really friendly and pleasant, and it definitely feels more like a family run small hotel (which is much nicer than a big chain) Overall had a lovely one night stay at this hotel. It was cheaper than other hotels in the area but everything was better quality and nicer. Will definitely book here next time I need to stay over in Warrington.

A luxurious place to stay in the centre of Warrington. This place offers self check in with no reception but the system worked perfectly for access and felt very safe inside the building. The room/apartment style room was fantastic with luxury feeling and high end finishing. The kitchenette’s are a nice touch allowing guests to self cater with the minimum of having fridge, sink and utensils available with hob and microwave. Would highly recommend this place if you are needing to stay in Warrington. Just one note, room 7 which I had has a lovely brick wall as a view and has the heating/ventilation system hum outside the window.

It's a standard hotel with Good hot shower, and a nice room temp control. If you need an iron box you can get it from the front desk.

Wir haben eine Nacht im Doppelzimmer geschlafen, dafür hat es auf jeden Fall gereicht. Das Streifendesign ist Geschmacksache, was sich durch das Zimmer zieht. Es ist immer viel los, weil sich noch ein Fitnessstudio im Haus befindet, wo auch externe Kunden hingehen. Das Zimmer war soweit groß genug. Leider hatten wir eine furchtbare Aussicht auf ein Dach mit komischen Folien drauf. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, das Personal leider nicht sehr aufmerksam. Es fehlte teilweise Besteck am Tisch und musste lange warten, bis man beachtet wurde. Für eine Nacht hat es gereicht.

Me, my partner and a few friends stayed here as the location was perfect for a party we were all attending in the evening... this place was lively and the owner was fantastic..even let us leave our cars on the drive when whe checked out so we could go say goodbye to our friends.. we missed breakfast but they made us some sausage sandwiches for our journey back... will definitely be staying here again! The only little thing would be the shower pressure but apart from that everything was great... thank you so much for our stay!!

Very impressive. The perfect family hotel for visiting Gullivers World in Warrington. It is literally across the car park from the theme park. We had a lovely room that was spacious, clean and tidy. The children had their own bunk beds each with their own TV and a curtain to segregate them from the rest of the room that made it seem like a den. They loved it!! When we arrived we paid for the breakfast for both mornings we were there. It was excellent value with a good selection of cereals, toast, fruit or a cooked breakfast. Even the coffee was decent, serving Kenco millicano from the machine. When the day was finished, the reception area turned into a sort of bar area, and one of the function rooms entertained the children with movies and games. We paid £158 for two nights for the family which I thought was excellent value for money. If I was visiting the Liverpool or Manchester area again I would definitely consider staying there again.

We had some family business to sort and needed to stay away from home for a very busy week. We had booked the Cat and Lion as it was the closest hotel that was available. We struck lucky, really lucky. The accommodation was good, quiet and not too big. The managers and all the staff were so friendly attentive and welcoming . A stay we were not expecting to enjoy became a pleasure, to be greeted with a genuine smile was so good and to be addressed by my first name at breakfast on the second morning was exceptional. Whilst our treatment was very good our dog Dudley was treated better. Very much another plus point. To all of the staff at the Cat and Lion a very big Thank you

1st die Zimmer essen sehr sauber, das Hotel ist spotless. Einige Fragen. Das Hotel sagt seinen Hund freundlich, das ist wahr, aber es ist nicht klar auf ihrer Website, dass nicht alle Zimmer sind Hund freundlich, so dass das Oberzimmer, das wir gebucht hatten, wurde abgegradiert, und ein £20 Gebühr hinzugefügt als Gebühr für den Hund. Wenn Sie Hunde freundlich sind, dann stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie dies vollständig in der Website reflektieren. Abendessen im Restaurant, das Personal war sehr freundlich und effizient. Es würde scheinen, dass das vollständige Online-Menü im Restaurant nicht verfügbar ist , eine abgeschnittene Version. OK. Wir wurden angewiesen, dass der Thai Green Curry nicht verfügbar war. OK. Wir bestellten, bald danach, wir wurden angewiesen, dass das Bier geschlagene Zwiebelringe auch aus dem Menü war. Hmm, also ist nicht jeder frisch gekocht, sondern aus dem Gefrierschrank gezogen. Selbst ein durchschnittlicher Koch konnte es schaffen, einen Batterie und kochen Zwiebelringe, nicht schwierig . Recht, das Zimmer ist gut, aber keine Fähigkeit, die Wärme zu regulieren, verringert die Öffnung auf den Fenstern, half nicht. Recht, Frühstück. Wir kamen um 8:40 Uhr, das Restaurant war ziemlich leer. Wir wurden zum Tisch genommen. Das Personal schien völlig uninteressant. Wir gingen zur Buffetbar, keine Eier, fragten und wurde empfohlen, sie zu bestellen gekocht. Also bestellten wir zwei gemahlene Eier und zwei gemahlene Eier. Nein. Sie können nicht gemahlene Eier nur gemahlen oder geschrotet machen. Das bestätigt, dass nichts wirklich gekocht wird. Keine Eier, sind sie ernst? Der Schrauben kam es scheint in etwas Flüssigkeit zu schwimmen, nicht angenehm. Recht die kalte Buffetbar sah arm aus, der Joghurt war leer. Kein weißes Brot zu Toasten. Die Mitarbeiter waren nicht beunruhigt, zu fragen, ob wir unseren Kaffee aufzutauchen wollten. Genau um 9:00 Uhr setzte das Personal in Aktion und löste das heiße Essen. Ich fragte, wann sie aufhörten, antworteten sie 9:30, aber sie lösten alles um 9:00 Uhr. Bezahlende Kunden, die nach 9 aufstanden, sahen sich enttäuscht auf das leere heiße Buffet. Die uninteressante Stsff musste gehen und das Essen aus der Küche.Ich habe in einer großen Anzahl von Hotels von Gästehäusern bis zu 5 Sternen geblieben, aber ich habe nie eine solche schlechte Einstellung beim Frühstück gesehen, ein Versagen, ein Ei zu frischen.
