"Das Pub hatte eine wunderschöne lokale Pub-Atmosphäre. Das Zwillingezimmer war ausreichend. Die Temperatur war schön, und das Badezimmer und Handtücher waren sauber. Matratzen waren nicht die bequemsten, und die Tee-/Kaffeeversorgung war sehr minimalistische. Es war OK mit kontinentalem Frühstück inbegriffen. Ich denke, es ist wahrscheinlich £75 - £80 anstatt die £94.50 gezahlt"

"Schöne Lage. Hatte ein wunderbares Zimmer auf der Ecke mit fantastischen Blicken. Das einzige Problem, das wir erwähnt, war, dass es kein Toilettenpapier und nur eine Beutel heißer Schokolade und ein Paket von Kuchen gab, so dass wir nicht jeden Abend einen schrecklichen Schokolade und ein Paket von Kuchen haben konnten. Wir würden wieder bleiben und Spa-Anlagen nutzen. Der Pool und Dampfraum und die Sauna waren perfekt. Essen war 5*"

"Arrived early evening to a friendly welcome, the reception area was informal and staff readily available. Room was cosy and well equipped with tea and coffee and two bottles of still spring water. Two sets of towels ample storage space and a cosy double bed with extra fluffy pillows (3). Ensuite shower and toilet in the room and smart tv with wifi and chromecast facility. Great tucked away from main road location with easy access to adjoining pub/restaurant. Ideally situated for local attractions like diggerland, xscape, and royal armories. Good value fir money"

"Excellent location, comfortable beds, quiet (except when there is a wedding party in progress), friendly staff (always a welcoming 'hiya'), and excellent breakfast food and service."

"The pub and the room themselves are lovely.  We were served by a man behind the bar who greeted us with ‘what’s the name?’ He then couldn’t find the booking as he didn’t have the correct apps from which we booked through…continued to say we wasn’t booked even though proof of booking was given.  His approach changed as soon as he realised he was in the wrong, showed us to the room where we found it wasn’t what I had payed for. I booked a king size bed with two singles, was given a room with just two singles. The bathroom had hairs everywhere and hardly any toilet roll. Obviously hadn’t been cleaned and replenished. When we returned back to the room later on in the evening the room was extremely warm, tried to adjust the heating where we discovered it was only able to be changed by the bar downstairs. The bar closed at 10pm to which afterwards there was no staff on the premises. Either be too hot or open the window and have the loud noises from a main road. Couldn’t win either way.  As mentioned very nicely decorated rooms but issues throughout."

"A good hotel at the centre of the town, easily accessible. Wheelchair access present. Very easy checkin process. The rooms are excellent, clean and comfortable. A small tv with good channel selection. The bathroom is clean and good. Overall a very good stay."
