Gut gelegenes, kleines Hotel mit familiärer Stimmung, in der Nähe zum Visitor Center mit freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Staff. Das Frühstück war frisch und lecker, auf Wunsch gab es auch Abendessen, was sehr in Ordnung war. Wir haben ganz oft eine grosse Flasche Wasser mitbekommen, waswir sehr nett fanden. Unser Zimmer war sauber und gross.

Wir haben uns in diesem kleinen und feinen Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Nah am Visitor Center von Petra, naher günstiger Supermarkt für die Grundversorgung und ein sehr gutes Restaurant gegenüber. Der Empfang und der Aufenthalt waren sehr herzlich und wir haben gute Tipps bekommen. Vielseitiges Frühstück, eine kleine schattige Terrasse und leckeren türkischen Kaffee gab es auch.

It's a nice little hotel run by absolutely love people. Now it's not a five star luxury hotel but it's got everything you need (elevator, hot shower, toiletries, hair dryer, comfortable bed, clean room, etc). It's 10 min walking distance away from Petra but it does involve some going uphill (Don't listen to Google Map about mostly flat...). But Petra/Wadi Musa is hilly so it's nothing crazy and I still managed it without issue (well, no more issues lol) after 20,000 steps and the descent from the Monastery with bad knees. What set it apart is the people. They really are the loveliest and the most helpful, especially the gentleman at the reception on my second day (I forgot his name, sorry!). My first day was brutal on my knees so he saw me massaging them during breakfast. He immediately jumped in to help. He drove me from the hotel to Petra for my second day and when I returned, had a herbal concoction ready for my knees! Apparently this is something he does all the time for travellers. I love Jordan for the lovely people and this is the prime example of that!

The Petra Aretas is a small, friendly, family-run hotel who are helpful, attentive and caring people. We stayed for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon in July 2023. The hotel is well located near to Petra tourist sites and has a small car park. Despite its proximity to tourist areas, this hotel was very quiet and peaceful at night and had comfortable rooms with air con and comfy beds. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with tea and coffee and an evening meal. Both nights we chose to eat at the hotel, trying traditional Jordanian cuisine, which were excellent and very good value for money. If you want to experience true Jordanian hospitality, you could not find a better example of it than Petra Aretas. I would choose to stay here again and wholly recommend it to anyone visiting Wadi Musa.

We had a great stay here - just what we needed for visiting Petra. Rooms are clean and comfortable and it is excellent value for money. Staff were helpful and friendly, and it is located very close to the entrance to Petra. There is a bedouin-style tent outside for relaxing in.

Highly recommended! Incredible breakfast, good location (walking distance to Petra), comfortable rooms, great value. AC, wifi, and hot water all worked well. It was my dad and my birthdays and Mojo and Zayn made us feel like family. We would gladly stay here again.

We stayed here whilst visiting Petra and had a great experience from the time we checked in to when we left , We had arrived early morning and were able to park up and take the short walk to the visitor center, we arranged to eat there that evening and the food was wonderful, my wife had the local lamb dish which was huge and very tasty, having had local food for last few days I wanted something different so they offered me a Sharma pizza which was delicious, Rooms were spacious and clean Breakfast buffet very good with lots of choices Great value in great location so absolutely would recommend this hotel

Our family hiked the 50 miles Dana to Petra trek, and stayed at this remarkable Hotel. When booking the Staff constantly communicated details that helped us understand everything. They assisted in booking a ride to Aqaba, and provided water for daily hydration. The breakfast was nourishing and we deeply appreciated all they did for our family. Communication before and during the trip allowed us confidence to know we were treated like family! Thanks for a great stay in Petra!

Very cosy and small hotel in walking distance from the old Petra site. I was there in July 2022 (it took me a while to sit down and write the review). Clean rooms with shower and air conditioning. Don’t expect luxurious but if you like it nice and clean like me, than go for it. The best part however is the super friendly and welcoming crew ❤️ After a few days you feel like family. We had several chats over the days and I had an amazing time. Also make sure to get one of their signature drink (non alcoholic of course) it tastes amazing. And the cat litter made my day as well. Would go back anytime!
