Hotel l'Eau Vive

Eau Vive is an hotel attempting to revive the charme of the old days. Many authentic elements in the interior, while the chambers have the standard modern comfort. It's the quality of the service and the food that has a lot of missed opportunities. The restaurant has a poor price-quality balance, with expensive ingredients (over)cooked in a poor way. Breakfast is ok. We woke up every morning at 7.30 because of the staff loud way of cleaning of among other the fireplace below our room. When we gave the feedback, they did not take us seriously, althoud they confirmed the fireplace is cleaned at that exact same time. when i suggested to clean it later in the day, as the comfort of guests was suffering, we got the response: 'the owners like a strict timing, so no possibility to change the time'.. so doubt if the feedback was passed on. The owner we were in touch with at the reception at a different moment was also not really responding friendly to questions about the lunch package, rather annoyed. So it's a pity, but the hospitality at the hotel is not at the level of what is needed to make guests feel welcome, rather functional. It a beautiful environment, but not reaching it's potential due to a lack of hospitality and willingness to make your stay comfortable.

Très bel hôtel, typique et bien entretenu. Nous avions une chambre côté ruisseau, et le bruit de l’eau est très agréable. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Petit bémol : il faisait un peu froid dans la salle de bain malgré le radiateur au maximum. Petit déjeuner complet et très bon. Un très bonne adresse.

Hôtel charmant de l’extérieur, mais assez vétuste à l’intérieur (tapis, mobilier, deco…) nous avons logé dans une chambre très humide, et avons été incommodés par une odeur persistante de renfermé et d’égout. Cette odeur se retrouve également dans d’autres parties de l’hôtel. Hôtel qui aurait besoin d’une rénovation car très beau potentiel. Les photos du site sont quelque peu trompeuses. Chouettes terrasses, mais vieillot. Beau buffet varié petit déjeuner, même si les bacs à bain-marie ne fonctionnent pas. Personnel d’entretien très agréable.

En général, ne vaut pas du tout la publicité qui est faite sur cet hôtel. Les services ne sont pas à la hauteur de ce qui est proposé. Nourriture congelée et réchauffée. Si vous avez un chèque Bongo ou autres, vous êtes logé dans la partie misérable de l'hôtel.

L´Eau Vive heeft sedert 28/03/2024 een nieuwe uitbater/directie, dus vergeet de voorgaande negatieve beoordelingen. Wij hebben er met Pasen een voortreffelijk Paasmenu gegeten met 8 personen. Misschien nog enkele kleine verbeterpuntjes (opstartfase ...), maar de toekomst van deze zaak ziet er terug veelbelovend uit.

Hier een weekendje gekomen met vrienden . Vriendelijk ontvangst . Hier komen we zeker terug . Savonds in hotel gegeten eten was lekker hadden goed weer en konden genieten van diner op terras met als afsluiter nog drankje in de bar . Ontbijt is goed alles wat je wenst aanwezig . Kamers zijn klein maar alles aanwezig . Personeel zeer vriendelijk
