Das Hotel wurde erst vor zweieinhalb Monaten wiedereröffnet und Und besteht aus einem komplett sanierten historischen Alt-Gebäude und einem Neubau. Spa-Bereich mit Sauna und Innenpool im Neubau. Es befindet sich direkt am Meer und ist durch eine einspurige Uferstrasse max 30 km/h vom Strand getrennt. In diesem Jahr hat das Hotel noch keinen „eigenen“ Strandabschnitt der aber für 2021 geplant ist. Kosten für Strandliegen und Sonnenschirme werden per Gutschein vom Hotel übernommen. Leider hat das Hotel keinen Außen-Pool.

Wir buchten das Hotel aufgrund des sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses, sofern vorab einschätzbar. Wegen des äußerst geringen Preisunterschieds haben wir auch Halbpension gebucht und auch an 2/3 Abenden das Abendessen genutzt. Das Hotel macht oberflächlich einen soliden Eindruck, hat jedoch einige Schwachstellen, vor allem in puncto Wohlfühlfaktor. Erwähnt sei hierbei, dass sich unser Zimmer im Nebengebäude befand, ob die Zimmer im Hauptgebäude bzw. die Flure etc. dort einen besseren Eindruck machen, können wir leider nicht beurteilen. Die Zimmer im Nebengebäude sind augenscheinlich sehr hellhörig, die Möbel zwar relativ neu, dafür fehlt es an anderen enden. Beispielsweise hatte das Badezimmer seine besten Zeiten hinter sich (die Duscharmatur verlor mehr Wasser über die Anschlüsse als über die Brause, der Toilettensitz war nicht richtig befestigt), die Wandfarbe bröckelte an mehreren Stellen offensichtlich vom Gemäuer und die Zimmertüren selbst müssten eher gestern als heute getauscht werden. Zudem gab es nur eine zugängliche Steckdose im gesamten Zimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet auf den ersten Blick eine gute Auswahl, erweist sich jedoch bei genauerem Hinsehen als eher eintönig. Wenig Obst & Gemüse und statt Säften Limonaden - schade. Das Abendessen bot von Fleisch, Fisch und vegetarischen Speisen eine gute Mischung an. Beim Dessertbuffet allerdings mangelte es leider an Vielfalt. Auch hier wäre mehr Obst fein und anstelle von 5 verschieden aussehenden Kuchen, die aber alle relativ fade und gleich im Geschmack sind, könnte man sich auf weniger aber dafür unterschiedlichere Desserts konzentrieren. Vielleicht auch einfach Crêpes mit verschiedenen Füllungen? Ambiente darf man sich beim Abendessen nicht unbedingt erwarten - was aber auch generell dem Faktor Buffet geschuldet ist. Kantinenflair statt Mittelmeerambiente. Getränke wie Limonaden, Wasser, Bier und Wein waren mittels Selbstbedienung inkludiert, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. In Hinblick darauf, dass wir uns noch immer inmitten einer globalen Pandemie befinden, möchte ich auch kurz auf die Hygiene Maßnahmen eingehen. Im Hotel selbst stehen ausreichend Desinfektionsmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung, auf die allgemeine Maskenpflicht wird mittels Hinweisschildern und -tafeln hingewiesen, das Personal selbst fordert jedoch leider nur halbherzig bis gar nicht dazu auf. Auch beim Frühstück und Abendessen waren für unseren Geschmack viel zu viele Gäste gleichzeitig im Speisesaal anwesend, die natürlich zum Teil auch nicht auf den angemessenen Abstand geachtet haben. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Tatsache, dass auf jedem Zimmer bei Ankunft ein kleines Corona-Schutzpaket mit Desinfektionsmittel und Masken auf die Gäste wartet. Alles in allem darf man sich vom Hotel nicht zu viel erwarten, wenn man das Hotel aber wirklich nur als Unterkunft nutzen möchte und viel unterwegs ist, durchaus solide.

Wir haben in diesem Hotel im Meerblick für eine Nacht geblieben.Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer ist wirklich spektakulär. Die Lage der Struktur ist wunderbar, da es zwei Schritte gibt der Wald mit den Pins und die Länge mit einer unendlichen Sitzplätze zum Strand. In der Nähe aller Dienstleistungen, mit einem kurzen Spaziergang Sie in die alte Stadt, die eine große Auswahl an Restaurants bietet. Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, komfortabel, ruhig Matratzen. Die Terrasse Meerblick des riesigen Zimmers!! Sehr nett Personal, haben sie ein kleines Problem unserer Vergessenheit in einem Auge gelöst!! Wirklich alle Komplimente!! Frühstück variiert und gut. Wir werden sicherlich in einer der nächsten Reisen zurückkehren!!
