Empire Beach Resort Adults Only

I don’t like giving bad reviews but my time here was terrible! They’ve disabled anyone from adding google reviews and there’s a reason for this. During our time, the hotel was not fully operational due to delays in opening up. For a few days we were the only guest, it was a ghost town! As a result of hotel not being ready to open up, key amenities such as breakfast (which we had to have breakfast at a nearby hotel), dinner service, the gym was filled with pillows and seat covers, swimming pool not treated, and other facilities were unavailable- Rooms unready, they had to get someone external contractor help them to open up. It was dishonourable for them to claim to be open and still take in guest knowing the hotel was not ready. The balcony had a bee hive and I told her I’m allergic she told me it was a sign of good luck! They gave me a block of cheese, slices of tomatoes, cucumbers and 2 sausages on the 3rd day. We couldn’t get any proper food or drinks made because the kitchen was empty and we had pay to eat breakfast at neighbouring hotel, we also had to rent a car to visit neighbouring restaurants as we were starving at this place. At the time, we were assured that we would be invited back as compensation for these inconveniences. We’ve reached out, it’s almost 1 year and no response from them. Do not come here!

Nice location beach nice staff friendly and entertainment team very helpful Nice hotel with good food.location near to city centre. Good choice of buffet food. Entertainment team great for kids and adults. Lots of sun lounges available and towels daily.

Overall had a really nice stay here, the hotel its self is lovely, modern & clean & I’d recommend it to people wanting to explore the area. The private beach area is beautiful for swimming, definitely the clearest water we saw in Albania although the beach area could do with a spruce up. Good, comprehensive breakfast. We did feel the hotel lacked certain extras which would make it a “premium” hotel. For example, only very basic toiletries in rooms, no coffee/tea making facilities or replenishing of drinking water. All seriously basic stuff, especially for the price we paid. Weird customer service, weren’t ever bought a menu when asked, the waiters in Sanur beach restaurant just reeled off a few random items from the menu. Had to go and find one ourselves. Hotel staff were fine, friendly but nothing to write home about. Finally & most shocking to us was that this is literally a party hotel. There was pounding music every night of our stay (Fri-Sun) literally outside of our room windows. This went on till gone 1am (earlier on Sunday) & we literally had no idea that would be the case, no mention of this at all on the website when booking. Empire Beach Resport has the potential to be a really lovely hotel but work needed on overall service & customer experience before it can be classed as luxury & needs to be more open / honest about the music.

Really enjoyed our stay! Definitely will come back. The resort had everything necessary for a perfect weekend. The staff was great and super friendly. Was great fun to mix both relaxation in the sun during the day and going to the parties at night. Thank you:)
