La Ferme HI Bride

We stayed as a family of 4 at La Ferme Hi Bride, for 4 nights in July. Having just experienced some disappointing accommodation in Gordes, La Ferme restored our faith in French hospitality and guest experience. The hotel is completely different to anywhere else we have stayed in the Luberon and its originality and concept are refreshing. The design and decor combine modernism, industrial style and splashes of primary colour in a way that still feel inviting and comfortable. We stayed in La Casa Hi - a 2 storey, 3 bedroom apartment. The space has been well designed with an open plan kitchen, dining and seating area on the ground floor, plus one bedroom and a bathroom. There are then 2 further bedrooms located on the first floor (each with their own sinks) which are accessed by an external staircase. All of the bedrooms have standard double beds. At the back of the property was an outdoor area with sun loungers and a dining table and chairs. Attention to detail was good and there were some nice touches which we really appreciated. Air conditioning featured in all rooms and full-size toiletries using local olive oil were included in the bathroom. The towels and bed linen were spotless and smelt amazing. Separate towels were provided for the pool. The small kitchen was very well equipped and included pods for the coffee machine. My only quibble would be that there is no hanging or wardrobe space in the bedrooms on the first floor. Given we were staying 4 nights it would have been nice to be able to unpack properly. The concept behind the pool is very clever and my kids absolutely loved swimming in it. If you want to go for a special meal nearby, I would recommend La Closerie in Ansouis. We had a wonderful meal there and the staff were charming. It’s rare nowadays to find somewhere that feels unique – but La Ferme Hi Bride really is. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return in the future.

The hotel was wonderful. The design was amazing, beautiful nature around, nice people. The only inconvenience was the bathroom in the room. So that in the night you can wake up your partner by using the toilet or the shower. The breakfast was quite simple but nicely arranged in a beautiful spacious zone.

I stayed in la Ferme Hi bride in August and already planning a longer stay for the fall. My room was in a historical tower but with modern design and lively colors. Energizing and peaceful at the same time, the room had comfy bed and was very airy. It was perfect to relax (and a desk when forced to connect for work) The site is really unique, a vast domain, overlooking the countryside and the pool is unlike anything I have seen. The breakfast was served in a spectacular room, with 4 meters high windows with fresh fruit homemade cakes and breads, various type of coffee. And the best of all was the team. I was welcomed by the owners Philippe and Patrick, explaining the project and the design of Matali Crasset, the visit of the hotel and the property, and ended with the rose produced with the local vines!

Eravamo di passaggio e ci siamo fermati una sola notte; non capisco tutte queste recensioni strapositive ….. non ho parole, il letto in ferro ballava se si cammina nella stanza, la doccia aperta in camera con pavimento scrostato, sifone doccia e rubinetteria che perdono acqua ovunque. Partí comuni sporche. Reception molto gentili ma non ci tornerei assolutamente.

Magnifique lieu à découvrir au cœur du Sud luberon ; accueil très gentil et plein d’attentions ; les personnes qui ont réalisées cette fresque architecturales et design exceptionnelle ont en plus poussé le bouchon (le vin de leurs vignes est à goûter sans modération) à réaliser ce domaine sous un angle écologique absolu (et je sais de quoi je parle…). Bravo Magnifique et à découvrir sans modération.

Fuyez ces personnes sont malhonnêtes! Nous expliquons que nous serons 80, que seulement la moitié des personnes dormiront sur place. Après deux visites des lieux et des conditions détaillées (devis à l'appui : logement, privatisation, petit déjeuner compris et brunch pour 40 personnes en supplément), nous décidons de "privatiser" les 20 logements pour notre mariage. On nous explique que la privatisation nous permet de disposer des extérieurs, d'une cuisine commune et d'un salon dans lequel nous pourrons accueillir tous nos convives. Nous demandons si nous pouvons prévoir un traiteur pour faire une réception en extérieur, les deux personnes présentes (Léana et Carine) nous expliquent que nous aurons la possibilité d'avoir des "mange debout"...On nous demande de réserver pour plus de simplicité en passant par Airbnb. Nous nous exécutons et payons l'acompte demandé. 48h plus tard, les hôtes commencent par nous demander un supplément de 1900€ pour l'utilisation des parties communes, ils nous indiquent ensuite que nous devrons aussi louer la salle de réception pour un montant de 7200€... Ils nous rappellent ensuite nous proposant leur salle de réception (en travaux) pour 3500€ en s'excusant de leur erreur. En fin de journée, ils nous appellent à nouveau en nous agressant et nous expliquant que nous ne pouvons pas "débarquer" à 80 alors que nous avons loué pour 16 personnes!!!!!! L'erreur est humaine, une explication simple et respectueuse aurait permis de se comprendre mais les gérants nous ont appelé chacun leur tour et ont été ODIEUX! Nous avons annulé notre réservation avec grand bonheur. Le lieu est splendide mais dirigé par des incompétents qui devraient apprendre ce qu'est le métier de commerçant!
