Friendly staff (especially Rene and Will), great service, and an awesome experience overall. The outside environment is relaxing with entertainment every day. Only takes a few minutes to walk to the beach around the corner. Whether you’re staying for business or vacation, it is a great place to choose.

Wir haben nach einer 2 wöchigen Rundreise, die wir über IMAGENES TROPICALES TOURS / San Jose direkt gebucht haben (Geheimtipp, sehr professionell!) noch eine 1 Woche zur ”Erholung” im Wyndham gebucht und waren begeistert. Wie schon in den bisherigen Bewertungen geschildert ist die Lage mit Blick auf die Bucht von Tamarindo sensationell. Vor allem genossen wir jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang im grossen und tollen Infinity Pool. Hinsichtlich der Getränkepreise, insbesondere der Softgetränke, ist tatsächtlich noch ”Luft nach unten”. Andererseits waren wir mit der Qualität und Auswahlt, dem Preis-/ leistungsverhältnis der Speisen sehr zufrieden. Ebenso können wir den Beach Club ”Langosta” aufgrund der tollen Strandlage und der sehr guten Küche empfehlen. Die Angestellen, vor allem Ronaldo von der Pool Bar, waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Fazit: Tolles Ferienhotel!

Insgesamt gibt Ihnen dieser Ort die stereotypischen Strandtouristen. Wenn Sie in das sind, ist es ein guter Bang für Geld. Wenn Sie jedoch eine etwas authentischere Costa Rican Erfahrung suchen, ist das nicht der Ort. Ich meine sogar das Restaurant ist ”Italienisch”. Warum Sie ein falsches italienisches Restaurant in einem Costa Rican Strand Resort haben ist über mich. Die Cons (die den Pros überwiegen): Die Reinigung der Immobilie war nicht wie erwartet oder wie die Bilder. Die Außenflotten waren schmutzig, vor allem um den Pool (die auch nicht sauber war). Der Jacuzzi war kalt. Die Dachfliesen waren gebrochen, schmutzig, und hatten überall Müll (oder Zimmer war im 2. Stock und hatte eine Frontlinie-Aussicht auf das Dach). Das Restaurant war während des Mittagessens und des Abendessens mit Fliegen geflogen (die Fans hätten helfen können, aber sie waren nur dekorativ). Es gab nichts Besonderes über das Zimmer, das wir hatten (302), warte auf die schönen gegossenen Decken. Es hat 2 Zimmer, 2 Badezimmer, die schön war. Eines Zimmer hatte 2 Doppelbetten und große Beleuchtung, ein anderes Zimmer hat ein langes Bett (armer Beleuchtung). Ein kleiner Hinweis, wenn Sie feste Matratzen mögen, ist das der Ort für Sie! Die Betten waren hart und nicht einfach für uns, mit unserer Vorliebe von mittleren festen Betten zu schlafen. Die Pros: Die Lage war großartig und die Zimmer selbst waren sauber, so hat es das für sie. Das Front Desk war auch nett und das Personal war freundlich.

I don't know where to begin, this place was amazing to me. I have travelled a lot, but never solo in a place where I'm not a fluent speaker and don't know a soul - I stayed here solo for 10 days in the Playa Negra room, and from the moment I checked in I felt so safe, secure, and well cared for. The room was spacious and incredibly clean, the halls and common spaces also so secure and maintained. The staff were so gentle and accommodating, helping me with anything that came up, including things like booking tours, where to go to shop or to change money, how to get to the beach quickly, etc! I was so anxious to take on this trip by myself, but the staff and vibe is why I know I'll return to Tamarindo soon. I felt I have made friends due to the real human sincerity that I was shown. I was even given a yoga mat and block for my room when the receptionist learned I was practicing yoga in my room on the floor; By the way, there are free activities every few nights in the hotel and the Mercadito beside it, such as yoga classes, salsa classes, cocktail making classes, so you will always have something to do even if you don't go on tours and are on a budget! The Sol Bakery and Mercadito beside the hotel offer so much variety of food and beverage, and within Zulu there are two lounge areas as well for when the rain hits, so you will have plenty of space and access even if you stay in a smaller room. Everyone is generally very friendly and warm, again, a total dream socially! The location is pretty much unbeatable, within 3 minutes walking distance you can be at some of the best coffee shops, food, supermarkets and bulk stores, the beach, tour operators, many souvenir shops and clothing stores, etc. So staying here can allow you to have either a very touristic experience or a more locally-rhythmed one, it's up to you. It is also very central and so, very safe. The beach is literally across the street. One last thing to mention is the ease of check-in and check-out. Shuttle buses to the airports can be arranged to directly drop you to the hotel, so as long as you plan ahead with the staff you will be taken care of. I can't wait to come back, and when I stay in Tamarindo, this is where I'll stay.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Sehr freundliches Personal, hilfsbereit und sehr gastfreundlich. Sehr saubere Anlage. Wir waren in einer Zeit da, da war noch nicht so viel los. Es war ruhig, man konnte sich gut entspannen. Musste keine Liegen reservieren. Wie in manchen Bewertungen beschrieben, war es auch nicht so laut durch junge Gäste, die ihre eigene Animation machen. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.

Das Hotel ist sauber, die Zimmer grosszügig und die Betten bequem. Die Dusche hat null Druck und daher ist es noch mühsam den Sand gut abzuspülen. An einem Tag wurde das Zimmer geputzt aber Duschteppich und Handtücher statt ausgetauscht einfach mitgenommen. Am nächsten Tag (verlängerungsnacht) kam einfach niemand mehr putzen obwohl wir extra die Tafel vor der Tür hatten. Beim bargeldlosem Zahlen war es immer das gleiche Problem. Sobald man die Zimmernummer angab hiess es, es ist kein Kredit drauf. Jedesmal mussten sie der Reception anrufen. Ich war im Bad bei der Reception, dort konnte ich den Wasserhahn nicht mehr abstellen. Ich war in der Toilette beim Häuschen vor den beiden Restaurants neben dem Pool. Dort konnte ich nicht spühlen. Das Frühstück war ok aber auch dort mussten wir immer dem Tee, Café und Saft nachjagen. Ich denke das Hotel hat noch ziemlich viel Luft nach oben. Was mir aber super gefallen hat, war der kurze Weg zum Strand. Dieser war echt toll und besser als erwartet. Man konnte super darin Schwimmen wenn man die kleine Brandung überwunden hat. Mit kleinen Kindern würde ich aber abraten, da der Zug nicht zu unterschätzen ist von den Wellen. Man konnte sogar den Boden sehen und wohin man steht und es war super Sand. Ein Typ vom Hotel hat uns sogar Getränke gebracht was ich genial fand. So konnte man den ganzen Tag am Strand bleiben. Am Abend sind wir immer raus um in verschiedenen Restaurants zu essen. Es gibt ein super italiener „Camparino“ direkt um die Ecke zu Fuss erreichbar und direkt am Strand das Poco Loco auch zu Fuss aber in die andere Richtung erreichbar.
