This was an amazing stay! Had a fabulous view of the mountains, sea and the church. Everyone was respectful of the space, with clean kitchen and bathrooms. It was very quiet at night and the rooms were immaculate and super comfortable to stay in. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay whilst on your ring road itinerary :)

Spotlessly clean, sumptuous breakfast, caring host for our welfare due to storm road closures (very kind). Very comfortable rooms, beds. Shared bathroom worked well for all of the users. Sound proofing minimal so other guests noises heard. Other than that really great stay. Superb eating area and view

進門找房間號找了好久！也不知道哪裡是正門！也沒有圖文標識！房間比較小，但是景觀不錯，可以直接老大哦紅色教堂！廚房設備太少了，連個簡單的電磁爐鍋都沒有！寫着廚具齊全，結果啥也沒有！而且房間比較多煮飯的人也比較多，特別擁擠！整體體驗感較差！

酒店衞生特別好，特別乾淨。 房間看出去風景很美！ 在房間就能看到極光！！ 我稱它為幸運房

Wir waren für 2 Nächte hier in einem schönen Zimmer mit Meerblick untergebracht. Toilette und Badezimmer waren auf dem Flur in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Im tollen neuen Anbau kann man mit herrlicher Aussicht das Frühstück genießen. Hier gab es viel leckeres und selbst gemachtes. Das Brot war zum Frühstück noch warm... Wir würden hier immer wieder übernachten und können das kleine Guesthouse Carina nur empfehlen!

A great option in Vik, we stayed one night in I think room 101 it Is the one next to the front door at the front and has a double aspect windows, which was great for views across Vik to the sea and of the sun going down over the church on the hill. The room was a good size the bathrooms are shared we had two just across the hallway, there is a small kitchen that you can use with a kettle and instant coffee, there is a modern extension at the rear where you can sit in the evening and it's where you have breakfast, nice breakfast good bread and you can cook your own waffles, they make the mix and you are the chef :) The staff were pleasant and helpful

This is a charming guesthouse in Vík along the ring road, perfectly situated in a quiet residential area just a short distance from the stunning black sand beach. My assigned room was comfortable, with the convenience of the lavatory located right beside it, adding to the overall ease of my experience. Overall, this guesthouse is a fantastic choice for those looking for affordability without sacrificing comfort, all while being close to Vík's beautiful coastline.

This is a very comfortable guesthouse with an exellent view to the ocean. We stayed for two nights as the town Vik is perfect place to doing sightseeing to the nearby sites. The room was big, clean and quite. The breakfast was very good. And the shared bathrooms and toilets was clean.

The stay at Guesthouse Carina was like staying over at a friends', or a family member's house. As soon as I stepped in the door, I got homey vibes and my room really exceeded my expectations. My room was on the ground floor between one toilet and one bathroom which I thought was great, and all bathrooms and the toilet were clean and inviting. I did hear people talk outside the door, but not to a degree that it was disturbing me. There was a pair of ear plugs on the shelf, so it seems they are aware that some guests are more disturbed by people talking outside their doors. I hadn't booked my stay to include breakfast initially, but on the day of check-in I got an offer to book breakfast for 1900 ISK, so I did. The breakfast was served in the glass patio, which had a beautiful view of Vik and the black sand beach and the breakfast was really good. I loved the homemade Icelandic rye bread, it tasted like gingerbread cake! If I ever go back to Vik, I will definitely try to book a room at Guesthouse Carina again.

The room was clean and cosy. The temperature in the room was high. The breakfast was good and the overall services and shared bathrooms were satisfactory. There is a Krónan Supermarket nearby. It is a good place in Vík. The staff was very nice. The walls of the room were very cold (Room No.: 102). The kitchen and the main door were close to our room and the walls were thin, there was a noise that came into the room.

Lovely little place to stop over in Vik, lovely and warm in winter. Definitely recommend if needing a break for the night from driving around the country. Lava show just at the bottom of the hill and plenty of restaurants around

Comfortable for a one night stay with a good room view but the walls were quite thin and you could hear people upstairs/in common areas most of the time. Using the bathrooms was also difficult at times due to lots of people trying to use them at once.
