Hotel Spa Acevi Val D’Aran

The hotel bedrooms could be more updated, the spa is fairly good although is too dark and breakfast is ok (the "sweet" part like croissants, muffins, donoughs, etc should be improved - they were cold and hard to bite). The location, next to the river, was appreciated.

Start with the positives. Breakfast is good, the rooms are clean and heated well. The staff are around and doing their jobs but there is zero atmosphere. Surprised there was not even a bar in the evenings to have a drink at. There is a vending machine in the entrance sadly. It is basically a room with breakfast. There are no facilities in the room for making your own drinks - tea or coffee or hot chocolate. This is usually in 2 or 3 star hotels. They used the excuse of covid to turn off all the fridges but that made no sense especially as restrictions have eased off completely. Another minus point was that from an eco perspective there were silly details not thought about. New plastic glasses each day in the bathrooms both wrapped in cellophane. Unecessary. Again - probably a covid reason to not have real glasses however we are drinking out of coffee cups and from plates each morning at breakfast. Lastly the location is fine from the point of view of proximity to Vielha however the traffic noise is constant through the night. Haven't been to the spa (which is probably what makes this a 4 star hotel) yet but unfortunately entry is not included in the price of the room. At 25 Euros per entry and our kids under 15 are not allowed in..... All round not the best.

Genial estancia!!! Habitación perfecta y amplia con todo lo necesario. Spa de lujo y perfecto para un día de relax. Personal muy amable y atento. En pleno centro con todas las tiendas y restaurantes. Un pueblo precioso.

No puede definirse este establecimiento como un hotel.... es un simple " bed & breakfast" NO tiene restaurante abierto, NO tiene bar abierto , NO tiene servicio de habitaciones, NO tiene piscina cubierta abierta a familias, NO tiene carrito para el equipaje y tampoco esperes que es señor senior de recepcion te ofrezca ayuda.... por que dice a todo que NO... El spa solo esta abierto por las tardes y no tienen horario para familias ( y NO esta escrito en ningun sitio)... deberian retirarle la licencia de Hotel y que sea un " bed and breakfast" que es lo que te dan.... cama y desayuno. El.desayuno esta correcto, todo hay que decirlo. Wifi si hay... poca cobertura, pero hay.

Edificio tradicional de montaña en el centro de la ciudad. Fácil aparcamiento delante justo del hotel. Buen trato en recepcion. Estuvimos en una habitacion familiar abuhardillada, decorado todo en madera. Muy grande y espaciosa. El desayuno es muy completo,variado y de calidad. Buena señal de wifi y todo el personal es muy amable

Nos an llamado cuando estabamos a punto de llegar, despues de 450km, para avisarnos que se a roto una tuberia y que se a inundado, con lo cual no nos pueden dar la suit que habiamos cojido. En lugar de la suit nos ofrecen una de categoria inferior por el mismo precio y sin spa que tambien esta inundado. Le dije que el precio de la otra habitacion es muy inferior y su respuesta fue "pues puedes venir a la suit pero esta inundada" No me ofrecieron ninguna alternativa solo la cancelacion gratis!
